The mace encourages creative movement, but you are a true artist. Not only have I not seen or conceived of some of the movements you demonstrate, I can't even see the value of a few (like this one) until I perform it. Then, the body speaks.
Earnestly following your KB, clubbell and mace videos is making the world an easier place for me.

Since I discovered your channel (Jack Black video ^^) I have acquired several Kbs, a club, and even a hydrocore... The mace is the last piece of the puzzle, can't wait to get my hands on one and give it a whirl ! Thank you once again for all of this awesome content. =)

Same here, I discovered Pavel S and S and bought kettlebell. Then I discovered this channel and added variety to my Kbs and got some clubbells. I then also got a jump rope. So currently doing a program of swings, TGUs, goblet squats, clean and press alternating light with heavy on each, a day on clubbells, jump rope practice most days as well to skip like ali and every now and then I do some dumbbell bench press but only have fixed weight. The Ironmaster adjustable dumbbells and superbecnh with dip and chin-up attachments will arrive late august and i will add pull-ups (maybe assisted with band to start).

@@LogicProX Jump rope is probably the best form of "light" cardio IMO. Love it.

Just got my macebell! I am so doing all of these mace videos little by little. I love the fact that the Wildman has already put out so much content on the mace to keep me busy for this entire year!

Dude you are cranking these out like a machine, and I love it!! I'm definitely incorporating this today. The incremental complexity approach is perfect!
One pattern I am seeing with each of these: the pleasant surprise of what it feels like vs. what it looks like.....and my body keeps telling me - yup, I really need this! For example the "Mace 90 degree Pivot Uppercut - linked to 360 - mace 6" really educated me of some more of my mobility limitations.
But psychologically, it doesn't feel like a traditional workout - because the flows are actually interesting, and challenging as you start to get tired. That's what keeps me engaged. It's so much more than simply counting reps.
On the comment of the bicep curl in this video - for the prayer transition, after many reps to me it actually starts to feel like it's also a single arm bicep curl from the full elbow lock-out to lifting the mace up to the prayer position. The first several feel insignificant, but it is accumulative.
    Awesome stuff!
I wish I knew about this when I was wrestling in school.

I’m really enjoying the mace and these vids are a great guide. At first it was chewing up my hands but now it’s not so bad. I have a few kettlebells but I think I have issues hingeing at the hips lol what is wrong with me?!

Hi Mark, one thing I have noticed on the internet is that people are very 'evangelical' about being in the 'Kettlebell camp' or in the 'Dumbbell camp. I can't find anywhere a program that uses great kettlebell work and mixes it up with a bit of dumbbell work - it is all one or the other. Now I am convinced that kettlebells and/or clubbells are the way to build foundation of a program BUT is it not good to add a bit of variety to any program and how would you do that with adding dumbbells? I ask because I have back ordered some Ironmaster adjustable dumbbells with super bench with pull-up and dip attachments.

dumbbells are great. if you already move well anyway. i default to kettlebells because they force you to move better. but if you move well, then dumbbells are super fun

I’m new to maces. I want to order some. Which size should I start with? I can do shield casts and inside outside circles handily with a 10kg heavy Club. What would be your suggestion for maces?
