    Great video! Very informative.
Just a disclaimer that i want to leave here:
Please everyone! If any of you go with a cheaper option then check if the outputs have Common Ground, its very easy to check with a simple multimeter or get it checked. Now you may ask why is that?
Not having a Common Ground on your outputs can create Ground Loop around your rig, usually this happens when you try to power both your Camera and Monitor from the same source. Ground Loop causes voltage differences around devices, spikes and other power artifacts. This can kill HDMI/SDI ports, power outputs, displays and on some of the P4K, P6K even the touchscreen can be damaged.
Again, just check if all the outputs have Common Ground or don't go with the budget route at all.

Ah, the old WF-717 Tripod and surprisingly amazing little head! While it's old, inexpensive and uses a non standard plate, I still have a couple of those heads on some of my tripods. Truly underrated head for it's price point at the time. The biggest issues with them were the pan lock knob interfering with the tilt angle, the bubble levels were shoddy and eventually drain, and the telescoping handle in all of mine needed it's internal lock ring inverted in order to actually lock it solid and not slip. Fortunately all the issues except the drag lock interference had easy fixes, and the arms are still some of my favorite drag tilt arms for how long they could get so long as one fixed the locking issue.

I love using the V99 Pro for my Blackmagic Micro Studio 4K G2 and is Airplane Approved! Not knowing the weight of the V212, the V99 Pro is extremely manageable. I can plug 3 12v items, Camera (DTap), Monitor (USBC) and Audio Recorder (USBC) and there is a USBA port still open.

Why swap the battery and struggle with cabling if you can just use the second battery to load the battery already connected? Just a thought, they can load and charge simultaneously I assume? Was thinking of using the 99 pro as sort of a UPS for specific gear. And using them outside too ofcourse

Hi Will, any thoughts on other brands that may be comparable to IDX?
Also any experience with Swit? They boasted about their years of manufacturing when the new Omni batteries was released.
Have you tried using the big “generator” type batteries (E.g. Ecoflow) to run your lights? Any thoughts vs V mount?
Lastly do you know what the power output connector on V mount batteries is called? (the part that connects into V mount type equipment).
    Thank you!

I don't know the name, but maybe a google on "technical definition v mount" could deliver results?
