They'd have to reduce its damage such that it never kills in 2 hits without a headshot (except *maybe* at a *very* close range). Otherwise, yeah, it breaks the game.
People who complain about tiny cool visual details being added do not understand that people are employed entirely to work on small cool visual details and put them into the game. You can’t ask someone whose job is to make and add in visual elements only and make them work on network infrastructure or anti cheat. It’s not in their skillset. They’re going to work on something they know they can make work while taking away little dev time from people who are busy working on the big stuff and still be able to say they are working towards something to collect a paycheque. This is just how things get made. Graphic developers aren’t just sitting around until a programmer tells them they need art for something.

I hear a lot of requests thrown around for an M14 EBR to be added to the weapons roster as an analogue to Valo's Guardian but honestly I feel like they could just rework the auto's to fill that niche, it sucks having 2 weapons in the game for so long that everybody just has to agree not to use.

So we added that "Individual report" option to clean up data with non-objective ones, and also disabled our kinda live "AI" anticheat detection in premier/competitive mode (for over month alrdy) Which leaded to massive inflow of non-legit players in this mode, and suddenly the only viable way to get 'em at least cooldown is to abuse "non-objective" griefing report selection instead of the actual aim/wall/other hackin tho. Good move valve, smart, keep it up the way it is

2:55 - 3:42 is just copium. I can't name a single person who plays CS2 anymore, the ranking system, the bugs, the anti-cheat, and the absolute horrible optimization. I run Red Dead Redemption 2 on high graphics with abt 150 Fps. In CS2 I have everything on low (except global shadow med) and this dogsh*t game runs on 90 avg fps.
I understand game development takes time, but holy shit the cheaters problem has been prominent for the games entire existence from CSGO. The amnt of money these guys milk on crates and skins and you are telling me they don't have the resources to build a solid anticheat? Hell, even Riot is able to produce a far better anti cheat. Not to mention Valorants anti cheat is now 4 years old., and we still have CS2 tripping. These devs better figure their stuff out quick, or else nobody is playing CS by the end of this year.
