    Very thought-provoking content ! Especially the part about not being able to make them think. The beneift is solely to the slave owner the smarter and enslaved person is. The more responsibilities, the more potential punishments.

    4:52 Indeed, I asked a similar question in the last video. Glad I wasn't the only one thinking this. The answer is still wild though considering how these slave masters really saw these black people as simply commodities and nothing more.

    At that point our African ancestors were masters at growing Tobacco, and could have been more efficient in it, s cultivation for example. But do you think they were gonna volunteer to do more enslaved work because they had knowledge to do so?
