Karen had the most Angelic voice God ever gifted a drummer!!!
This is from their 1971 BBC performance on their first visit to London. Just prior to singing “Superstar,” Karen was on her drums and singing “Love is Surrender.” Immediately after, she returned to her drums and sang, “And When He Smiles.” After that, she got up to sing “Rainy Days and Mondays.” She was truly uniquely talented!
It was in the movie Tommy Boy with Chris Farlhey and David Spade. It was a funny scene. The they were driving and acted like they weren't into it because it was lame. Both ended up singing it out loud and crying. So funny. Yeah. Her voice . . .
