Hello, my friends! I thought these styles were really pretty, but I do have a personal favorite. Let me know if you prefer one over the others. xoxo Marlene
Hi Marlene! I am new to wigs … and I am interested in ordering my first wig, but am nervous. I love your videos, and I want to order the Mara. I have a petite head so in your opinion would I be able to wear it? Thanks! 😊
You always do a beautiful job in your descriptions of the wigs you show us. All three are very beautiful brunettes. Agree my screen doesn't show any bronze on McQueen. They all look and fit your face and coloring very well. Thank you Marlene for not only one wig review but 3.
What a great review. The differences are so subtle, but when you pointed them out, I could totally see what you mean. Thank goodness for your reviews! Even though the differences are so slight...I think I like Mara best. Another one to add to my wishlist! That chocolate buttercream reminds me, in a good way, of when my mom would get her hair frosted when I was a kid. 💙
Hi Sharon, thank you so much for stopping by! Oh my goodness, you are so right about the frosted hair. Yes, that's exactly how it looks. Mara is a great one to add to your list. I wore it today with it clipped off to the side, and it looked so pretty. I'm so happy to know you enjoyed my review. xoxo Marlene
I really like mara and mcqueen and the rich chocolate brown. I have a couple of styles from the city collection, these are little steep for me but really feel like getting one of these gorgeous style. You look great in in all of them. :)
Hi Marlene ❤ all three wigs are beautiful!!! Love those browns. I think I prefer the chocolate buttercream.(?) They look just lovely on you!! Thanks for sharing.
All three styles are nice. They look very great on you. The Chocolate Buttercream is pretty. I agree, the highlights appear to be an ashy blonde. Love your comparison videos❤❤❤❤
I wish I'd seen this comparison before I ordered McQueen. I was deciding between it and Mara. I ordered it back in January from Shirley and it still hasn't been shipped. I'm assuming it still isn't in stock. I definitely look at the nape length because it gives me a clue about the back length. You and I have almost identical head measurements so your reviews are always so helpful to me. Even though I didn't have this, I think I'll be happy with my choice.
Hi Karen, thank you so much for stopping by! McQueen should start shipping in a week or two. I hope you love it as much as I do. Also, I appreciate you letting me know the nape length and my videos are helpful. xoxo Marlene
I love your videos. Since I don’t like “flippes” in the back for myself, can the back on any of these three styles be trained to turn under rather than flip out?
Hi Deborah, thank you so much for visiting. I'm happy to know my videos are helpful. Yes, these are heat friendly; the flips can be trained under with a curling iron or flat iron. xoxo Marlene
Marlene I am considering McQueen but natural wear many more shorter layers. Do you thing shorter layers can be put in this wig without compromising the wig?
Darlene, I honestly don't know the answer first hand because I've never added layers to a wig; however, I've seen other wearers add layers to other styles and they looked beautiful; I also haven't seen layers added to McQueen. xoxo Marlene
Hi Marlene, thanks for your in depth reviews! Do you have any personal experience altering any wigs to add bangs? If so could you show us before and after how the wigs turned out?
Hi Anni, thank you so much for stopping by. I'm so sorry, but I rarely wear wigs with bangs. The ones that I do have already have the bangs added (I have a video on my favorite Wigs with Bangs). The most I've done is trim the bang if it's too long; I believe it was on my review for Jones that I showed how I trimmed it. xoxo Marlene
Is the parting space on Mara more dense than the city collection. I have Montecito and love the part. I am considering Mara but In all the pics and video I’ve seen it looks like a dense part. Also would you consider Sunkissed Almond a warm color? Thanks!
Hi Denise, thank you for visiting. Yes, Sunkissed Almond is a warm color. The first Mara I reviewed in a Ginger Blonde (I can't remember the exact color) the part seemed very dense; however, my new Mara in Rich Chocolate Brown is perfect. I do need to mention that I did spray water on the part and used a blow dryer on the part. Sometimes when wigs arrive, the part may seem dense right out of the box. A bit of water and heat will help define the part. xoxo Marlene
You're very welcome! Just make sure to use only on heat friendly fibers such as Mara, and keep the blow dryer moving. Don't hold it in place for more than 5 seconds or the fibers may damage even though they're heat friendly. xo
Hi Marcia, I've never cut bangs into a wig; however, all 3 of these styles have the fringe that is 7" or less. I don't see why it couldn't be trimmed to add a bang. xoxo Marlene

Hi Joyce! A big warm welcome to you! Thank you so much for visiting and the lovely comment! xoxo Marlene
Cute Marlene 🤎 more brunettes 👌🏼 now we just need a petite cap😀
Thanks, DW! I agree. I wonder why BT hasn't added any petite. Hopefully, at some point they will. xoxo Marlene

Hi Nancy! Thank you so much for stopping by and letting me know you see the same as I do. xoxo Marlene
Great comparison and ❤️the brunette ! Would prefer a ash dark brown - but great to have brunette option 🫶
Thank you so much, LD. I'm hoping BT adds an ash brown to the Lux collection. xoxo Marlene

For me it would be down to Mara or McQueen.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Those two are my favorites as well. xoxo Marlene
