Wow! This video is absolutely amazing!! I am simply in awe! Rarely have I ever heard such a perfect presentation on a theological topic... and I'm a theology student myself!!! I am about to take my final examination (defending thesis, etc.) and one of the topics is the Book of Revelation, particularly on the subject of dating. I've got many books here, but it's wonderful to have your video as a basis. Thanks for posting these!!! God bless you! Greetings from an American in Germany! :-)
Quite original and true to the facts contrary to the fabrications of some deceived and uncharitable men who mercilessly see the judgment of God against the Catholic Church in the narrative of the Book of Revelation.
Anna, yes, they're growing but they're not going anywhere because they are still the minority. Besides the Church, especially the Church Fathers, have always held the post-70AD dating. This pre-70AD dating is a relatively new reading by a few ideologically-driven conservatives out to push certain agenda out of this reading as I said not unsimilar to the dispensationalists who have their preconceived agenda to put forward.
+Pia Legaspi The pre 70 dating is growing because of the superior evidence available. There are Bibles where it states it was written before 70 A.D. and other credible historical data. The post 70 date is based on Irenaeus who is known for poor dating. He even stated Christ was 50 years old when he was crucified. He is credible as an early church father, but his dating has always been known as poor.
Eusebius in his early Church History states clearly that there were no Christians in Jerusalem during its destruction in 70 AD, because they had all read the book of Revelation and moved out to a town called Pella.
While it maybe true that all these things in prophesied in revelation came true in the first hundred years of the Church, that doesn’t mean that they haven’t or aren’t going to happen again.
That’s the problem with this view, it lets people assume that it’s all been fulfilled long ago and thus blinds them to the fact it’s all happing again.
i got wicked (lol) & read just the 1st book of enoch (don't worry 85% is already in the Bible) book of Rev matches up, but EVERYTHING we call ORAL TRADITION is there. gonna zip it.
His pre-70AD dating is a minority view among bible scholars. His typical "Catholic" reading of the Apocalypse keyed to the Mass is in the line of Corsini, Hahn, Barber, Williamson. This reading which is a kind of imposition of an ideology on the text is not unsimilar to the dispensationalist reading with its rapture intoxication.

@@lanbaode We have guys in the 4-5th century going by a pre-70 dating. All the fathers says Mathew wrote first and the majority of biblical scholars says that mark wrote first, going by internal and textual evidences.
@@Jerônimo_de_Estridão Matthew wrote first. he was an Apostle, as was John. Mark was a friend and follower of both Peter and Paul. Luke was also an accomplice of Paul.
Lucas Silva sorry but i spent time in Middle East and people from Middle East lived in my home. The customs, culture differ from us, have you spent to there? Are Asian culture same as ours, no, that is why if you ever served in military they send you to a school to learn about these things before deployment or being stationed there. I believe that John the Apostle/Evangelist wrote Revelation as well as the Gospel of John. However I do not know which order he wrote them.
I can't hear anything ! fix this .

How do you serve prayer with father and end in Jesus name and not mention the holy Spirit? Sound something like a Protestant would say

+Thaddeus Noel Laput Actually, the pre 70 date of the writing of Revelation is a growing trend with both Protestant & Catholic scholars.

another western mindset, trying to explain a Eastern mindset, need to do alot of historical research, and culture.
Fe Wolf the division eastern/western is a human concept.
