Brilliant review Chris I really like the Preston was it your favourite out of the 4 poles.
Honestly, yeah it was. However the Garbolino is a tiny bit stiffer. So if you were a F1 hunter fishing long, shallow or snake lakes then Garbolino UK1. BUT the UK1 is £500 more expensive.... but UK1 isn't £500 better in my opinion.
I've noticed you also fish with a colmic pole how highly do you rate them
The F66?
The Colmic F66 is very similar to the Sensas 1094. Very strong and a decent pole.
Apparently Colmic are lauching a new 16 metre pole this year, as all the F66 have been sold and time for update. That could be interesting to see the F77 (if that's the name) could be like?

The Air Pro Z is. But is comes at a price tag.

Agreed. I picked up Lispy's at Alvechurch.... nice pole. Strong and stiff.
How rare to see an independent review on the high end poles. Almost all other content is endorsed anglers gushing over their sponsers' flagship pole- totally pointless and worthless. Independent reviews like this are both near non existent and also the only the only kind of review that is even remotely relevant/worth watching. So thanks! Would be nice to hear you rank them properly. Seems like perhaps the garbo and the preston perform best but the browning square butts make it more manageable at full 16? Weird that other manufacturers dont do this, they must have patented early on maybe?
Would be great if you could do the others- mtx4/Tricast 980 and Daiwa Air etc
I used the Sphere Zero yesterday, wow. Square butts are very good. I'm not sure on the pentent, but I understand MAP has square dolly butts?
