HOI is the easiest game to do A2Z. Then it would be CK, VIC and EU

After this game I suggest a "members killed" counter where you track how many members have died for you in your many armies

Cross it over with the Disaster Saves campaigns too, so we can see how many times over members died before and after the Bitter Intervention.
5:20 for those who don’t know, army defence advisors are actually very good, as for advisors, generals, and feild marshals. Defence increases actually increase breakthrough, which in this instance would be much better than a non combat out of supply penalty reduction
Would be nice if the game actually told you that, since breakthrough is displayed in other places as a stat.
@@RyuakiraX yeah it’s especially annoying as things like aggressive assaulted which advertise +10% breakthrough actually do nothing, but unyielding defender which gives 10% defence actually gives 10% defence and breakthrough

Ok I might not be entirely sure on that one, but I know that unyielding defender is just simply better, as it gives the defensive buff as well as the breakthrough

I wish paradox added like a signaling system for your allies, like you can ping the players in MP or the AI in SP to hold the front or to give you naval/aerial superiority in a region, or to start pushing somewhere or retreat somewhere else, etc. Would solve the issue of the AI doing things you don't want it to do

Tip: if you want to find a mysterious country that you've already capitulated but it miraculously survived somewhere, press F and the search box will open. Also works for searching individual provinces
The moment Stalin declared war I knew he was hiding there. I've had the exact same thing happen to me. Defeated Soviets, fought over territory and due to points shenanigans the Soviets still existed alongside other Soviet puppets. Then out of the blue Soviets declare war on some 3rd party. Had no idea where they were until I had business in the Pacific and saw them up there.
This will be interesting as bittersteel focused more on his gameplay and goals while ISP focuses more on his personality while doing random shit
Personally I agree that lend lease is a bit strong for any half decent player but on the same note it’s quite realistic. As long as your sea lanes are safeish I think it’s well placed in the meta. I’m reminded of the English and Communist who basically would have lost everything if not for American lend lease/loans.
Can't believe I'm about to watch this whole series again.

Sometimes I feel like the developers added a Decision that sounded cool, then didn't actually try to achieve it themselves. I know it's not true, that power creep has just made previously-achievable Decisions vastly more difficult, alongside some regions getting blanket Decisions that some of them can achieve which others can't, but it's funny to think about.
Cool video! I'm doing something similar for myself, but not in alfabethical order. Yemen, Cuba and Uruguay were surprisingly fun :) Good luck with this challenge!

I loved this video and I have to say that I’m amazed if you keep your sanity for the hole serie. If you manege I think that you can try and create the Al-Andalus caliphate from an Algeria without the French cores.

Im excited for when you play Austria. I just had a game where I denied anschluss and now have almost created austria-hungary. no mods and historical focuses too. If you wanna know what I did just ask.
This might sound silly but would you be able to make a micro tutorial interesting? I see you and others play this micro-ing, seems like you're using hotkeys to redeploy units or something? When do you move a unit, how do you "cycle" units into a losing tile, etc? Usually I see tutorial focused on build orders, templates, and focus trees. Not how to actually manage and micro. Which.. I think might be really useful and have valid info regardless of patches so you aren't being asked to update it every 6 months.

I only heard about these "A to Z Nations" challenges recently and I must say, I love the idea.
HoI4 is too difficult for my mind to even comprehend, so it will be EU4 "A to Z" challenge for me (Starting with Aachen).
Now this is a proper A2Z series. Waiting for more

@@SemHuijgen, only the pro-Dutch path is mostly updated for now, and tailored for historical AI-focuses on.
But in short, the political options are whether to:
1. Retain the Status Quo with limited liberalizations in exchange of higher stability and inheriting the military prowess from the Fatherland, or
2. To heed on the Indies' already existing interest groups' wishes to make the East Indies more independent from Den Haag but still ultimately subservient to the Kingdom, in exchange of stability loss.

Might it have been worthwhile to convert a few units to Mountaineers for the push into the Caucuses? Seems like all those mountain tiles would have been the perfect place to use them.

Yes! I love RedHawk's A-Z challenge in EU4, so I am very excited to see you do that in HoI4. It really gets you into playing nations that rarely are played, and then the challenge goals can also be a lot of fun to come up with.

I gave this a try as well, but i just skipped navy completely and used paratroopers instead to take islands and strategic locations, since i have had previous bad experiences with forming persia as iran, some of which involve my navy getting stuck.

Something that really aggrovates me in your videos is, that you always trade, even if you only are in a minus of e.g. 2 steel. This only gives you like -2.5 output so I usually just keep my civ building. Great video tho
