ive never seen going over with the airbrush that seems insane. nice work. i never wanted a airbrush till now :) i paint for a living, but houses. Ive taken a break cause i was just getting painted out :P getting that urge to get out the minis though.

I have never been able to get my paint to flow off my brush like you can. It almost looks like you are coloring with markers. Perfect, smooth, solid application with every brush stroke.
This style of painting is just insane. It's more like you treat it as a Painting on a 3d canvas rather than a miniature.
it is a style of my own that I have been working on for many years, you will see that each figure I paint is unique and special.
I'm an Artist irl and couldn't agree more. I've been painting for over 10 years and went to art school etc. The techniques here are a lot like some traditional oil on canvas paintings. Super interesting as I also paint W40k and never thought to approach it like this.
I rewatch the Sergio videos often. Right now it pumps me up. Inspiring work and great videos.

Just painted this model myself a few months ago, I know all the detail that's jam packed in there and the way you make it look so easy is just incredible. Amazing work!

Masterful. I love how you place your brushstrokes. The blends aren't the cleanest and if you zoom in too closely they can even look rough at times, but it's all in service of a coherent whole and once you take the entire mini in at once it just oozes character and looks amazing. Top stuff.
What blends? The amazing part is that there are very few actual blends... reminds me a lot of classical oil painters...and strangely enough, of Isabel Guerra, a famous actual painter of our country that makes what I'd call blotches of paint in a canvas but that somehow become hiper-realist when you step back a couple meters
@@TheChzoronzon love how the blending work is done at the end with the airbrush it makes some insane textures
@@TheChzoronzon true. I guess I used the word "blend" because it all comes together in the end but you are correct, there really isn't any blending by brush going on here which makes this even more impressive.
Everything you see is a little piece of everything I create in my online academy in patreon, sure that with explanations and color recipes you will understand it easier.

Reminds me of Emma Svensson painting style, her orks are insane, but hers looks more comic book, and something about it just pops. I don't think this video does your style justice. I looked at your insta, and holy hell the model looks 10 times better. I think the filming is just to close, something about it just doesn't look right, but the model looks amazing on insta.

Brutal sergio! Me encantan los tonos que le has dado en forma de filtros con el aero. Yo para moldes uso oyumaru que es reutilizable las veces que quieras aunque si es un molde que vas a usar más veces la silicona siempre es una buena opción, no conocía ese formato que has usado
Muchisimas gracias, seguire subiendo videos. la calidad de oyomaru no es comparable, esto es una silicona de dentistas para sacar el mejor detalle, a parte que el molde te sirve para otras muchas veces :D

Sergio, I’ve noticed a practice that is in your painting where you dot paint on in layers rather than apply coats. How did this process develop over your years painting, and what are some of the difficulties? The results speak for themselves obviously
It's been many years perfecting my painting style, I never understood that painting with glazes, I do not see the point, they said that the detail was erased, that was the reasoning, it was certainly not true, you can see all my work :D
