I was a little bit behind you in that race (finished 33rd) and I hated the muddy section too! Worse than hills! I nearly stacked it on a patch of mud - serves me right for wearing the Takumi Sen 8s.
Yeah, definitely worse than the hills wasn't it! Ooo, I do love the takumi's - we shall find a nice full road race to enjoy our super shoes properly soon haha!
Did this race last year with a slightly adapted course, I'm unsure how much I like the original one as you've done! Seems a bit stop starty. Great video and enjoyed the humour!
Good running dealing with the disturbance in the timeline the Garmin was picking up - glad you didn’t end up in 1970 after all, that would have really upset the chip time
Cheers, yeah I definitely left some on the table there, even though I did feel pretty knackered at 7K. Still need to start doing 1 off-road undulating run a week to get more efficient on the trails!
5K PB 17:36 where the final mile I was on the brink of death and my Manchester half 1:24:32 where I just felt good the whole time and executed an almost perfect race!
‘Hills’?? You should visit Yorkshire. Hah. Good running 👏🏽
wow, what a finish.
great running!

Cheers mate!

That fucking kick. You *must* be leaving stuff out there, but well done. Slightly stocky-looking-for-a-runner white top didn’t stand a chance.

Hey J mills. Middle of the video and enjoying as usual. Can I ask what your favourite race has been?
Manchester Half 23! 4C at race start, didn't get above 9C, almost perfectly flat and smashed a 1:24.32 with my girlfriend and family all watching! 😊😊
Best J Mills has looked in a while!! Get on a flat road and find out about that 10k. Only 40 seconds off your pb on a course like that??
About a minute, but yeah I felt overall pretty strong! PBs are coming im sure!!
Impressive after no doubt a full weekend of partying. May i enquire which were your stand out performances???

@@CrownMyRun ah sorry I meant at Glasto. 🙂🙂🙂
I reckon J Mills might need a new watch. Great effort though!
Firmware upgrade on insta 360 appears to be the issue!
A seagull!!!😂🤣
It's usually a baking hot day , but there is nothing worse than passing the finish on the left, thinking its not far, then you have the hill climb
Yeah, I'm very happy the weather sorted me out! Hills + Heat would end me!
I would’ve put my house on j mills overtaking white top.
Are you doing the Brighton Phoenix 10k next week? Course is flat as a pancake.
Nah, working unfortunately :( Good luck if you are!
Find a course without those tight turns and little slopes & I can see a sub 39 no problem J.Mills!
Wonder if it's a watch error as you're losing all data not just current pace?
Yeah, not really sure, never seen it do that before. Hopefully a one off!
Shit course that J Mills tbf 😂
I enjoyed myself out there but certainly wasn't a PB special!
Disappointed no twerk at the finish line 14:42
🤣🤣🤣
Money is on those km markers put on the wrong tree or your GPS was really bouncing a lot
I think it was probably a combination to be honest!
The markers at these local 10ks are almost always off!
