It's so sad to think that the easiest choices are the wrong ones And that the most difficult choices are the right ones, the entire film comments on how you don't need love to not be happy and that sometimes you have to overcome it even if it costs you a lot of time 😢This film is beautiful and very moving but unfortunately we can only create fanfics because the true ending is harsh but the right one for both the bride and groom ❤

Yeah, I think I like this ending in concept but honestly the best ending for Emily was the one that happened in the movie. She got her justice, she realized that she didn't need someone else to love her, and she was able to move on. Besides...offing yourself for your partner is not...healthy. It's a bittersweet lesson that things don't last forever, so you have to treasure it while it's here. Imo, Emily's grand act of love for Victor was stopping him from ending his life for her, because if you truly love someone, you want them to be happy, even if that's not with you. And the same goes for Victor, his grand act of love for her, besides uh...trying to off himself to be with her (it's not a good act of love, but it is an act of love nonetheless) is letting her have her happy ending. She didn't get the life she dreamed of, but at least in the end, she got to give herself a happy ending. But she absolutely deserved a better story and let's be honest we all wanted to marry her too. 😂

To be honest, I always wanted Victoria to get victor, because he was her only way out of an abusive life. (Mainly because my mom and stepdad were abusive, so I understand her pain, and wanted her to get out.)
Victor was set to marry Victoria when he accidentally married Emily, the dead bride. Emily was betrayed and killed by the man she loved, but Victoria was the one with toxic (only because I don't have a better word) parents

maturing is knowing that emily simply didn’t want anyone else to die young like she did. she wanted him to LIVE happily, even if it wasn’t with her. victor had given her peace by showing her love and helping to avenge her, but she knew deep down that is why they met, not as soulmates but as someone to heal each other. emily taught victor to open up and be less nervous, and victor taught emily the power of peace. emily didn’t need true love to save her, she needed someone to teach her that she’s strong on her own, and doesn’t need to wait for a man to save her.
The og ending was amazing though, this is something we'd like (i definitely like it its cute) but the og ending was something we needed (Still loved it❤)

But, this version would have worked as well. Because Victor hardly met Victoria, and while the living belong with the living, then what of Romeo and Juliet? Also, why deny a person to create an alternate reality story of a fictional one? We would not have Miles Morales and no Fionna & Cake. There can be more than one right or okay version and we can enjoy both at the same time.
