This home is in remarkable condition. The kitchen is really nice, and I agree the room with the panelling and stone fireplace is awesome. It is a total waste of a beautiful home for it to be demolished.
Sometimes there are serious issues with the building and the land becomes more valuable then the house. So it makes sense to knock down the existing house and build new.
The fireplace was my favourite feature. I love the colours in the stone (it was the most colourful thing in the whole house!). I also liked the laundry chute, the room with the built ins, and just the fact that the basement was sunny and bright. Thanks for sharing it!
It's not hard to find out these things IDK why Ethan doesn't bother to get his facts right and learn the names of things. This entitlement that it's enough to just show a few videos and make lazy commentary... no it isn't! At least the clickbait has improved since Marie and Donnie Osmond's supposed house in Canada...
Thanks Ethan . I'm thinking we saw this house before , I remember u searching for the shoot . Anyway to bad they are tearing these houses down . Take care
I see nothing wrong with this beautiful home only for a bit of water damage the whole house can be lived in by another family its a shame that a house like that gets torn down but another great video see you in the next one Ethan
At one time it was a short stay residence for people who were exposed to someone who was diagnosed with something contagion. I am aged now, but when I was young, this was common in Canada.
I’ve seen this in several houses you’ve shown before and it baffles me: light switches OUTSIDE of the rooms. Children would definitely be turning lights off on their siblings. It’s strange to me.
Nice explore Ethan! I seriously don’t understand the logic in knocking that house down to build some ugly modern monstrous new place. The chandelier looked cool but that other twirly thing in the dining room area looked ghastly! That would be gone if it was my house! On the whole though with a few minor repairs that house would be nice to live in! Thanks for your hard work and your attention to detail. Like to see the little things too!
I have an idea about the seemingly random light fixture at 8:28. This would not be at an awkward height at all if you had an upright piano sitting there. It would provide light for the musician to see the music score. 🎶
What happened to the video that was just on that was built in the 60s and renovated in the 80s! I was watching it and suddenly it stopped playing saying it was Private. What happened Ethan?
The renovation are very extensive and expensive in this house .it's a shame it's being demolished. The way inflation is and the price of everything. Nobody can afford houses they build these days besides the wealthy. It's all about greed!!!
Well in honesty Ethan the exterior the color that almost mustard color doesent do it for me. But well whomever lived there must have love the color 😂 the dark wood floors is beautiful tho. And I think dark wood doesent always work with every house for some reason. But it seemed to work with this one. I didn’t get like this huge excitement as in other houses.. but well maybe because can’t compare it when it was first constructed 20 years prior to compare it to what we’ve seen now ie 80s renovation. They managed to keep the house in pretty decent shape even from the 80s. 45 years?? Or so? The space was great for sure. But I do hope they change the exterior in that like canary yellow color ugh 😂 sorry to be blunt. Your fellow explorer looked like he was the fed catching everyone red handed with his shades on 😊 but well? What about why would they downsize ? 2 floors ? My guess a small couple or small family ? Who knows ?? After that video I said to myself why don’t we go and get pizza 🍕 somewhere Ethan lol 😂 I feel like I know you so well now. Anyhow cool video and always a pleasure with you my friend. Stay warm thanks 🙏 Tony 😊
It's likely caught up in some litigation between creditors, this often happens with bankruptcies. Always good to have curiosity and learn stuff as you go Ethan...
For average people like myself, beautiful, I love natural light, but cleaning 🧼 All those windows especially up in foyer, would drive me crazy to maintain. Every day 🌻 not alot of people who can afford a house like this, that's why I say, BNB ❤ or family vacation house
I LOVE this house. But what a horrible reno, not at all the style it should be for a mid century modernish-style house. Love all the transom window. So upsetting to hear another classic beauty being destroyed.
That room with the built ins wood make an awesome sewing room!

Why can’t any of these houses be renovated? It’s such a waste

I liked the kitchen in this place but the bedrooms were tiny. Thanks for sharing it with us 😁👍🏻
So glad you posted on a Sunday so boring today these vids are always exciting always something different
Very nice house. I really liked the kitchen. It's sad that it's being torn down instead of being loved.
Thank you for sharing Ethan 😊
Love this era of homes. Always love clearstory windows, they really lit up the foyer.
Absolutely stunning , immaculate Wow they're going to tear that down that's ridiculous . Good job Ethan keep them coming 👍🏼👏🏼🤗🇵🇷💕
The house has a cold feel to it IMHO. Another great tour!! Thanks Ethan!!
Such a beautiful home. It’s a shame that it is going to be torn down. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe
The back door and the other door to it is an air lock entry. Sometimes they're at the front.

That’s quite rude. Then don’t watch his channel. Move on. There are plenty of us that enjoy this channel.
What a beautiful mansion! Love the kitchen! Sad such a beautiful house will be torn down! Awesome video as always Ethan! 👍👍❤️✊🤘
Hello Ethan 👋Thank you for sharing this great video with us 👍❤️😎
This is a nice house, I liked it before I saw the basement. That fireplace really made the room.😊
Nice house. Love the laundry shoot, but it’s too bad it wasn’t by the laundry room. The whole was so clean and quiet. Glad you showed it to us. ❤😊
Very nice, love all the light! Thanks, Ethan!
I really love that front foyer... would be even better with some color
Thanks Ethan . I'm thinking we saw this house before , I remember u searching for the shoot . Anyway to bad they are tearing these houses down . Take care

More contemporary than modern interior. Thanks Ethan!
Nice house. I really liked the kitchen. And i liked all of the "what's up guys" 😊
Loved the foyer! Bedrooms were small. Laundry chute was hidden. Simple house. Still a great explore! Until the next one!
Thumbs up on the video Ethan and beautiful mansion and I love it 👍❤️🙏😎
Love the windows and the flat roof.
So many tiny rooms, but loving the tiny bar and wood burning fireplace
I’ve seen this in several houses you’ve shown before and it baffles me: light switches OUTSIDE of the rooms. Children would definitely be turning lights off on their siblings. It’s strange to me.
Beauty Wthan. Nice kitchen. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Ethan...house is lovely ,nice and bright lots of windows...I'd move in ...like the wood floors and the fireplace...stay safe well and happy Ethan 💋
What a shame that a beautiful home is being torn down! So much more could be done to save it from being destroyed!
You were really on a mission to find that laundry chute 😂😂
Nice house 🏠🏡🏠🏡🏠🏡🏠🏡🏠🏡

This was a nice house. The renovation may have lost some of the character of the original but it was well done.
Great job😊
that's a nice place . thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ stay safe love ya

Why is the windows so small that’s wired but I like the floor way that’s nice
Wouldn’t want to have to clean the windows in this house 😮
Definitely need to salvage the things in this house.
Beautiful 😍 home that's a shameful expensive waste 😢 sad 💰 flushed things is a wasteful country 🌹 very sad 😢

✌️this one has a like to it, but a little too closed in maybe 🤔
It is a shame people just destroy history like this it is so beautiful I would live in the house the way it is
Hi Ethan!❤
Nice kitchen!
Awesome 👍🏾
Very nice place!

Lovely house!
Must be nice 👍 to be that rich you could tear it down and rebuild?

For a 4 million dollar "Dream Mansion" every room seems so small
welcome to toronto.
Was Greg trying to scare you
That's a nice house.
HI ETHAN ❤❤
What happened to the other video you uploaded?
didn’t mean to post it yet. lol
@@ethanminnie Oh OK, lol. I watched it! 😄
@@ethanminnieAre you wearing makeup around your eyes. You don't look well.😔
What's up Ethan
Nice house, we could enjoy living there, oh well.
Hi Ethan ✌️
What's up guys
This would not be my dream house. they do a teardown...does anyone think to donate the good things to Habitat for Humanity!?
Very wasteful indeed
I’m going to have to quit watching Ethan! These beautiful homes being demolished is so sickening it causes me undue stress and sadness!!
Took you long enough to upload this video (I am the guy who meet you outside this house a few months ago) my parents live on this street
🤩👍🤩👍🤩🍀🙋♀️💖
Could've rented out as a BNB ❤ family vacation spot ❤❤ just saying. 😢 Sad, wasteful 😒
I don't like the windows.
Hello Ethan
