I am amazed at this home and for the first time, I asked my husband to sit down and watch this video with me. He couldn't believe that all of this stuff was left behind. I would love this home and a lot of the content inside. I especially love what I call " the Sunroom", with the numerous skylights. The owner apparently stopped caring about anything after his divorce and left this beautiful mansion to the elements of nature to take over. So sad!

You forgot the basement. Technically not abandoned since the power is still on and the TV was still working with some sort of a provider. So somebody is paying the bills.
Usually if the power still works, it is on an autopay and the owner is either deceased or in a nursing home etc, and the account is being paid automatically. This is very common. In bigger buildings, sometimes the state will keep the power running to avoid decay in anticipation of a sale, or to run security equipment etc

The house is definitely not abandoned. Someone is paying for utilities and cable. The beer and soft drinks in fridge looked new. Some parts of the livingroom, bedroom and bathroom looks as if it's still being used. I'd say a family member or family friend may still visit the place from time to time.

Yes it is. That BMW is a 2013 BMW 650i. Those sprite cans are 2008 - 2009 era with the gradient and splash logo. This house was most likely abandoned 2014 - 2015ish.

That is Billy Steins house he had a car lot in the next town and got busted by the BMV for forging car titles and failure to produce titles. serving a 24 month stent.. he still owns the house and his brother stays their often...The neighbors watch the property so anyone else thinks they can break in. think again.. im sure that this kid will be getting a contact from the police..
If anyone is living in that house Adult Protective Services should be called. It is in a beautiful neighborhood so I wouldn’t doubt the neighbors do keep an eye out but ain’t no one living in that mess unless you’re homeless.
Keep in mind Strawberry, although some of what you see in these abandoned homes is as they where when the owner left, the explorers do what they feel will make their content better. Like turn on a fan, move a chair or pair of shoes, or turn on a TV. It’s part of the creativity. Part of my enjoyment of watching this type channel is to try and spot the “ain’t no way”. 😉

Yet other rooms got modern things like the flatscreen it's weird. Based on other comments I guess it was some depressed guy who's family left him or something

Bellísima la sala de abajo la luz de los lugares, luz natural, buen gusto en la decoración, imagino cuántos empleados habría para limpiar tanto espacio sobretodo baños y cocinas clósets digamos que una empleada de cocina y otra de labores más jardinero.
