In this project we'll show you how to build an IoT shield PCB for the ESP32 and a web server dashboard to control it. The shield is equipped with a BME280 sensor (temperature, humidity and pressure), an LDR (light dependent resistor), a PIR motion sensor, a status LED, a pushbutton and a terminal socket to connect a relay module or any other output.

Most Amazing IOT channel ❤️
Amazing - I got 3 esp32 sitting in my parts box but I've not made the leap yet - thanks for putting together a clear and useful first project.
You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it
VERY GOOD PROJECT
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it
Excellent 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Espetáculo! Obrigado pela explicação

Cool project 🤩
Thanks!
Muito bom :)
Obrigado!
Nicely explained project, thank you! Is there any chance connect it to home assistant?
Yes, of course you can, but I don't have any tutorial on that exact subject right now
Is there a data sheet available for:
ESP32 Expansion Development Board Type-C MICRO USB 30Pin GPIO Distribution Board
Good job! Do you know if it would be compatible to the Heltec ESP32 Lora boards? Tks
At the moment I don't plan to create a guide for that exact board, but thank you for the suggestion!
you just have to change the wifi library to
Great project. Interested to sell the pcb shield and send it to Lisbon?
Unfortunately we don't sell any hardware, but you can easily order it a PCBWay for approximately $10 and it's easy to solder it too
Does the ESP32 give enough power to power on the relay? It is very little power that you can use from the ESP-pins...
Yes, the ESP32 can easily control a relay module board that has an optocoupler with a 3.3V GPIO output signal
Note: the pin that is powering the relay module is the Vin (5V) that is powering the ESP32 board.
Please make a program based on esp8266....
Ive started using Home assistant. which is much more powerful and still very user friendly and NO coding at all. If anyone wants to know details ill send some links..
Which Home Assistant?
@@LiamJFord Hassio. Its awesome
