Actually in a public place, restroom would be more appropriate. Bathroom is for someone's house.
Kishore G. Yes, people will understand both but restrooom is the correct way bc public restroom do not have a bath......
I wouldn't really consider 'bathroom' wrong even when talking about public ones because everyone understands that meaning. As long as a word has a commonly agreed on meaning, that meaning is correct, and 'bathroom' has come to mean even public restrooms, at least in the US. I mean, if you really want to get technical, most people aren't really resting in a public restroom either.
Haley hmm...idk I guess the inner architect in me wants to call it a restroom. And BTW, aren't you resting when you're sitting on the toilet?
Me too, I prefer to call it restroom it sounds more delicate to the ear than bathroom.

In the UK no one uses either restroom or bathroom. Toilet is normal, though there are numerous alternatives both politer and more vulgar.

When the guy asked about the portion sizes' of McDonald's in America there aren't any super sized portion's in America anymore and I'm from America and I don't see super sized portions from McDonalds anywhere.

This was wonderful. Just a little info on American Super Sizing at McDonald's. They only add more fries and a larger soda. The hamburger is the same size. As for the gambling and larger Hamburger or cheeseburgers please try Las Vegas the city is well known for both. Good luck with your adventures kids. Wonderful job with the video Ladies.

NateBit8 Dir auch einen schönen Tag. Start with basics and the main differences between German and your native language. Learn the alphabet and pronunciation and the most important verbs, nouns, adjectives etc. Use grammatical schemes and HANDWRITING, audio-visual listening. Progressive repetition is the key. I hope that helps
