We played this when I was in Grade 9. I had never heard of The Sound of Music nor the Von Trapps before but my classmates had and were excited to play it. After the Winter Band concert we watched the movie and it’s one of my favourite movies. During my Grade 9 year I wished I hadn’t continued in band due to how many from the previous year left but I’m glad that I did. Years later I joined a town band and we also played The Sound of Music!
