Kafka wiped the memories we were together, which can be seen during the opening part of the game where Traiblazer has the dialogue of "Kafka.?" along with the flashbacks after SilverWolf 3d printed us back to stasis.

Age nor duration was specified, however, a long period did pass. Regardless, he stated that the person he handed Kafka would eventually change her and she would change the child. They are each other's destiny as Kafka puts it. After you go through the two questions game, Blade confirms that trailblazer used to follow Kafka around all the time and that Kafka took the trailblazer on missions. He also confirmed that no one except the trailblazer has survived for as long as they did while next to Kafka. He then mentions Kafka sacrificed a large amount of things to keep the trailblazer alive. So the duration of time nor age is specified, however, based on what Blade said, it was probably a decently long time.

Don't forget that Kafka is a specialist at psychological warfare. I mean it's easy to know which statement is a lie or not, you mostly just have to read her lore. And you can easily deduce when she lied. The thing is, kafka is written as a particulary manipulative character. She even underlines this later in the quest "what's important in this game is not to know what is the lie and the truth", implicitly saying there is more to this game than which reply is the lie and which is the truth. Also, the first rule to follow when you are trying to manipulate someone is to mix lies and truth. For example, if you say "there is a worm in the green apple you just ate", but lied, it does not necessarily mean the apple is not green, maybe there was no worm. Or that there was a worm, but the apple is red. With that in mind, we have multiple informations : - we are made from her and 3 other people genetic information - she was tasked to raise us - she was fed up with us, and tossed us on the express as soon as she had the chance Any number of these informations might be true or false and at least one is false. What we know from the texts she sends us is that she seems really attached to us, which would mean at least the last part is false. All other information is either true or false. My 2 cents guess is that she was tasked to raise us, and wishes us to see her as our mother.

You're assuming the *entire* statement is false, but only one piece of it needs to be untrue to have the entire answer qualify as "a lie".
