Drag reduction technique you mentioned, I believe is very negligible. I tried following KSRTC bus, at a 70kmph or above and within 2,3 metres behind the bus, yeah there’s a reduction in drag, which you can actually feel. That’s insanely dangerous to drive that close. Even though the braking distance is more for the bus, we will miss the crucial fraction of seconds to apply the brakes.
