    I would love to see Brian do a video on his favorite tools. For example I’ve always used a traditional ratchet but see he’s using a swivel head ratchet and wonder what he prefers and other tools he prefers for wrenching.

    It's been dope seeing how far yall have gone! I remember when you first met Brian and working on the Triumph how normal he seemed. Just a dude helping you out, thinking how awkward it is to be on camera. How he's got his own show. How freaking dope man, keep it up!

    This is one of the better online/youtube business models i`ve seen so far!
    You earn trough youtube, you earn trough the work.
    You educate the viewers and basically teach people mechanics.
    Awesome idea, much respect!

    I would be interested in a series in which you guys teach us how to build your own motorcycle/what parts are in a motorcycle (yes, even the smallest screws and so on). I think that would be great

    One little piece of advice Brian. Try to not going so fast. Explain the job step by step. In this case, the user wanted to switch to sintered. Explain why these are better, what are the differences with the OEM ones. There are different types of calipers, with different pins...explain those, because people can found themselves with differences at the time to change pads. Just my 2 cents guys. Love the channel and love this idea of BTV. Keep up the good work!!!

    and of course, they'd be branded!

    Oh yes. BTV video to start the day. Morning coffee and watching Brian make all the work you can do to your bike look effortless. Nope and Still Nope. Should keep that and come up with even funnier stuff to edit in over the plates. Also someone thinking they Hercules overtorqued the shit outta that thing when Brian went to adjust the slack in the chain.

    • @panchito6939
      @panchito6939 3 роки тому

      Most likely wear pattern. You can tell how a rider brakes and how the calipers are working by the wear patterns on pads. Much like you can tell how the alignment is on a vehicle by looking at the tire tread wear.

  • @t1hocan
    @t1hocan 3 роки тому +1

    Please don’t put regular grease anywhere near your brakes, it will creep and contaminate other parts of your brakes, if your luck is anything like mine you’re brake won’t fail in a car park or a lot, you know they’re gonna fail when you get caught out going into a bend too quick and you need them to be on the ball to save your ass,
    the only thing you should use on your brakes are brake cleaner and ceramic grease, in a push copperease, a little on your slides and a little behind the pads,

    Brian, why no copaslip to the back of pads? 🇬🇧

    • @scooby06sti
      @scooby06sti 3 роки тому

      Why would he?
      Its never done at the factory and brake manufactures dont recommend it since copper grease damages rubber.
      Plus most pads come with anti squeel shims just like the ones in this video.

    • @heatz711
      @heatz711 3 роки тому

      those EBC pads have a copper coating on the back so no copaslip needed

    • @pauls6157
      @pauls6157 3 роки тому

      @@scooby06sti There’s a few things that are not done at the factory.
      Its like the O rings on the chain, do all cleaning products reduce the life span, subjective.
      The pads I have been using for years don’t come with shims and they are a quality branded product.
      When brake pads do squeal, you only hear it at low speed, thats because of the vibration of the shim against the pad.
      The copaslip prevents the vibration occurring, and likewise if there was no shim ie pad against piston, the copaslip fills the minuscule gap up.
      Hope this helps as to why its good practice to do. 👍🇬🇧
