I get that you want to pull guys that are dominant after 7 to save their arms for the post season. But the scary thing is that Roberts would have pulled Glasnow if this was a playoff game. So a Grove or Vesia can lose it later on.

Apparently everyone in baseball knows arraez is the best contact hitters in the game that is everyone except Dave roberts. Why pitch to arraez? Don't want to get hit beat on the possibility of a tatis home run but vs the probability of arraez single?

Yes, I am blaming roberts, Idgaf! If the dodgers went 0 4 so did the Padres, foh, you talk as if Diego had a big lead the entire time, they didn't it was a essentially a 0 0 ballgame until the 9th. Lead off double and the best hitter in the game is up to bat who doesn't strike out and he's going to opt to pitch to him? Gtfoh. This was most definitely a managerial blunder.
Christ🤦♂️. This the problem when a casual list things that they think are relevant to the in game situation when they're not. Or are you just making up excuses as to why taking the loss was acceptable.
1. Why do I care about injured relievers? They're not playing, they have no effect and the pitching staff as a whole has been doing well without them.
2. Tatis? Why do I care about Fernando? He strikes out 22.2% of the time whereas arraez strikes out 6.9%. runner on second and just a single can score him and one of the leagues best hitters bat to ball guy is up to bat, why is he being pitched to him when there's a guaranteed strike out waiting on deck? What? Are you holding on to the possibility of tatis hitting xbh, if tatis manages that than the arraez is a non sequitur vs playing the probability that arraez gets a hit which is mostly certain. Possibility vs probability, there's a difference and roberts has a shits stone idea of what it is, he better figure it out soon because this should've been a win, glasnow was too good not to take this win.

Games like this tell me that the Dodgers are not well motivated and thus will fall short of winning the World Series. When you have Glasnow on the mound and you care playing the Pudres and you come out flat!!!!! Roberts can't motivate.
Did you see how King was pitching or did you miss it? King was lights out! His 2-seam/sinker had the cut of a sword. I NEVER seen a ball move that sharp right before it crossed the plate. They said it was breaking 5 inches more in tonight’s game than any other games he pitched.
