I was born in 1983 so of course I didn’t start smoking until later as a teenager but nowadays at the dispensaries all the bud looks the same and it doesn’t even get me as high as natural homegrown weed that I used to smoke in the 90s
@matthewdorsey-n3l The dispensaries and the home growers select their plants much differently. The commercial growers are concerned with grams per square foot (or square meter), time to grow, and THC. Profit is the goal. Each homegrower has their own goals. Many care about the other cannabinoids, not just THC. And the terpenes are very important. We want it to smell great. The effect on the smoker is usually the most important thing and THC is only one part of that.
@@matthewdorsey-n3l sure its not your tollerance that went up? I am still a youngster :) but i remember smoking some bud when i was 15 definitly kicked my ass much more then it ever could as a 27 year old now :D I also think about the "old times" but I am sure its not the old weed, it always is your feelings about nostalgia and also the more intense high because we didnt had any tollerance back then :D
In 1992 I visited the island of Kauai for a couple of weeks with my family. One day, I was hiking around Ke'e Beach on the north shore when I came upon some locals who had just sparked a massive joint, "Smells really good" I said. "You want some Bruddah?" one of them said to me. Needless to say, I spent the next 5 minutes making friends and getting so stoned out of my mind that I could barely see after we finished. They told me it was locally grown. I had no reason to doubt them. Mind blowing cannabis.
I've been on the east coast. I got a chance around 1988 to go out to a house deep in the woods of western Massachusetts to buy some weed, the bud was not cured well enough and stunk so much it would make a sailor puke. I swear it was the Mass Super Skunk parent to Sour Diesel that was popular in Massachusetts at the time.
everyone thinks the weed is better now but they weren't around before all the GMO strains an clones BS names .. was only two kinds Indica and Sativa thats it the days of outdoor 10-12ft trees are long gone .. if u had those seeds now be worth more then the weed they trying to sell now .. kind of a shame really what happened to real bud
Now that Cannabis is legal, things will only get better. It's strange seeing people waste Marijuana plants like that but that's what law enforcement used to do and now they can pursue more serious crimes like murder.

@triscuitfarms The OP is not describing the weed when they say "gas" here. The phrase "it was a gas" is 1970s slang for "I had a LOT of fun."
"We burn it immediately, get the bbq going, have a little bonfire party and feel the love".
