Many thanks for this. i am very new to computer recording and only knew a compressor to be something that makes quiet stuff louder and loud stuff quieter. I never really knew what any of the knobs actually did and just twiddled them til stuff wasn't peaking. This software is excellent with the visual aspect and your clear explanation. It makes SO much difference to actually SEE what you are doing with the waveform. I have bought it and to anyone living in the UK it costs £38.68 using the code. My thanks again.
this compressor is absolutely incredible, i didnt think i would walk away from hcomp or pro-c, but this comp is giving me finally the sound shaping i need!!
Hey Mike, no obvious aha moments but I wish this video had been available a couple of years ago! Once again I'm reminded what a great teacher you are...
Hi, the graphical representation makes it very easy to understand how a compressor works. But I think we should trust those ugly sound detectors on the side of our head instead.
in fact yet another nice explanation of compression itself, but the idea with waveform representation is not any new, being available in many even free products, or stock DAW plugin like fl studio limiter (which is also a compressor)

Great video. Can you do a similar one on a transient shaper?
This is a great explanation and visual on compression. I'm tempted. Very tempted...Fantastic, Mike! Wonderful training too!
In Trigger mode you can still use VPos and HPos to move the display where you want it.
Excellent video Mike. Loved the attack/release explanation. Aha!
Thank you so much for this review Mike & "I hope you well"!😊

Thanks for a great explanation of compression and also the opportunity to buy this plugin!
Great demo & explanation as always Mike!
Videos like these are the best!!
Excellent, you transformed a gear demo on a didactic tutorial. Thanks for that.
Thanks for all your videos! Aways helpful!
Nice example with the square wave.

Ah HA! Now that I've seen it represented graphically, so to speak, the mud has disappeared and all is well😂😂😂

The code is not working?

Where did you see this? This is definitely NOT our policy. If it’s on the website or something let me know where and I will correct it
