This new focus on transparency post-Shadows of Change is the best direction you could’ve gone, CA. THIS is what we as gamers and consumers want. Transparency is so important, no matter what game you’re making, and sitting down with lead developers and confirming that you hear us and that reworks and content for factions are on the docket is amazing. Keep it up, guys.

Switching to focus on IE is the best choice you guys will ever make
Not sure how I feel about it. Immortal Empires feels lifeless and devoid of lore which is sad given how much there is lore in this universe. Some kind of intros, additional dialogs or even text would help feel it more unique for each faction.
Id much prefer more campaigns to be honest, something with a mix between story-focus (like SoC) and big open world (like IE)

This was SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH! I would love to see another one of these in the late summer to maybe show off some more in-progress animations and perhaps even reveal another few units or characters! Very exciting video, so much more informative and enjoyable than just a PNG roadmap.

I truly HAVE NEVER understood why every developer does not do these types of "Dev Talk" videos. YES, of course we love this, please keep doing it. Bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, whatever, we don't care, just do them. Thank you for your hard work on this franchise throughout all these years. More communication and interaction with the community is almost never a bad thing, if done correctly, so please keep moving in that direction. I wish this team and this game the best!!
It takes a lot of work, that's why. You need to get different devs from different section of development to a same place, set up the recording, write the script, prepare visual aids, have someone eddit the video, ...

Yeah I agree. Feels great and most of us should know that as long as you are not the boss you cannot talk like brain afk so I think many TWW fans should be happy with it!
Yeah, and it feels like they really are hearing us because we see the guys from the inside actually telling us that they know what we want, and saying what we want on the screen. It’s different when it’s just text on a screen or when it’s just someone saying they know what we want, but when it’s a game dev saying “we know you guys want vampires, norsca, and lizardmen” on a screen that is just so much better.

A duel system for Skulltaker where you actually go out and duel other enemy Lords and LLs in a real battle, dismounted, is all I need to be the happiest servant of the Blood God.

Also more aggressive efforts into those sorts of updates, including updates that don't come alongside a DLC, which sounds **lovely.**
The developer in the middle also mentioned "colossal beasties" when talking about the Greenskins, and also squigs, so I think it's safe to assume for Greenskins we're getting the Colossal Squig

@@rusty_bed_spring1136 It's great that there is a mod for this issue, but I think the game shouldn't have a dead or unplayable faction like this. This faction, along with Kislev, are the "face" of Total War: Warhammer 3. The demons of Chaos even dedicated an entire prologue to them. Surprisingly, after two years and a significant number of paid DLCs released, not a single patch has fixed the problem that's been there all along.

I think The Great Book of Grudges also has a really sound idea with that of mini race packs. I know I'd love to see a formula that adds in a lord and/or legendary hero along with a few units so we can get units that wouldn't make much of an army on their own. Like halflings and gnomes being added to the Empire, like with hobgoblins being in the Chaos Dwarf roster. And I'm sure you've already heard it a million times, but Ind and Khuresh would probably me massive hits.
Golgfâg Maneater is such a legendary character that he's the reason why Maneaters name themselves, well, Maneaters.

As a Bretonian fan, I would like to see Green Knight, vows rework, and foot knights. A crusade mechanic would also be cool.
Yeah, definitely. It doesn't really feel like a Medieval Knight faction. I'd like a Richard the Lionheart, too. Amazing military and crusader leader, the only English to match the French in skill.

CA, your awareness of the issues presented by the community is a nice change of pace compared to, well, before. The clarity of communication here is heartwarming to see, and I hope it will go a long way, for everyone involved. Thrones of Decay has been fantastic fun (despite its quirks and issues) and a significant boost in quality compared to Shadows of Change. Please use this momentum to swing hard, because if the next DLC is a good'un, we could be in a very good place. Please continue the god-specific DLCs first as that would be very nice to see, from there we can get wild with things like Nagash/Thanquol

When he mentioned Norsca, I went into denial, I thought it was a taboo faction
I've been enjoying shaking my head every time a warhammer youtuber has said its obviously going to be Arbaal. I have no idea why they all just skipped over Skulltaker. The only reason we got Epidemious as a FLC lord is because they had Tamarkan which had a whole list of DLC units they could add from the book named after him. With Khorne there was no such character. And Skulltaker is waaay cooler than just another chaos lord riding a flesh dog. You could even make an argument that Arbaal should be a Noracan character. Anyway, my point is I was right and everybody else was wrong 🎉

First thing. Thank you very much for putting out this video. As far as transparency goes this is outstandingly good. Letting us know your intentions and some plans you are working on is perfect. its what we want and the openness towards what you want to touch on in the future but haven't set in stone is important soon because it makes us feel heard as a community and at the very least if a whole plan changes just give a heads up when you get a chance and a simple explanation allowing us to be more understanding. The community can be very patient as long as we know we are being listened to. Keep up the great work!

This was a much better way to convey information on the plans going forward and big information drops, it feels a lot more transparent and it helps to convey that you DO know where the issues currently lie - as opposed to instead feeling like the community is getting ignored.
The community at large can be very much an echo-chamber with a lot of doomsaying when there's no clear vision being given, and I feel like this format helps a lot to combat those negative feelings. Definitely want to see more of this going forward.
I agree so much, a lot of the time people just want to be heard. It helps make the dev team feel more human than a corporate machine thats just meeting targets

I'm 36 now and have been playing TW games since the first Rome. I'm an old fan of the franchise and since Attila, my favorite game in the franchise, I felt kinda abandoned and to this day really frustrated with the game, but I kept buying the games cause I love them and I love Warhammer too. We've come a long way, lots of mistakes and also a lot of victories in this great game. But lately it felt things would not end rigth and this game would be another Attila for me, an amazing unfinished game. It feels great to see transparency, honesty and real people. It feels great to hear from you that there is more to be done. Thank you. Thank you for all the fun! Keep up with the great work, it feels good to know that you care and listen to us.

It would be nice if Valkia also had the option to be playable as a Khorne LL in the campaign. Simply having the option to play her as a Khorne LL or WoC LL would be great.
Honestly, Sigvald and the Four Champions of Chaos being playable only as WoC legendary lords is one of the biggest disappointments of Warhammer 3.

Yeah I really wanted that too, this dlc will take quite the long time for them if it comes out at the very end of the year. Ind and Khuresh would much much bigger and if this Khorne, Ogre dlc needs 7-8 month I can't imagine a completely new region with a new race/factions etc how long will that take? Either they are already working on that now as a secret unannounced project or it will be 2026 or maybe never

I feel like the empire coast has lost their identity after the introduction of chaos dwarfs, Malakai, and new empire units, all of which are arguably more complex and fun to play. I'd love to see some updates for the pirates.
The Vampire Counts are not forgotten! I hope to see Neferata and Nagash (no Vampire, I know) in the future!
Neferata will come, rework and bring what's missing to the Counts, and then Nagash will probably rework everything else undead.
Calling Nagash to be the final DLC for the TWW series - once he arrives it's basically the end times completed
@kilamandaros Immortal empires could never be an End times experience. Has to be a game mode.
If at this point anything undead comes out that is not Nagash its a riot. One of if not THE most impactful character in the lore across the board. Literally the father of undeath.
One thing I really liked about ToD is that the reworked each faction involved. Specially the Empire which added unique campaign mechanics to even different lords. I hope this will be the standard moving forward.

@@yungoldman2823 was just going to say the same. If they are taking 9 months to release next dlc since the last one, we kind of expect new experiences in campaign, not just a new lord with the same units and mechanics as always. They have done well with ToD

@@Nindrian he already has unique mechanics. same with the huntsmarshal. gelt was the only one that truly got new mechanics.
Since you asked: Plagues for Skrolk. Head Collection mechanics for Queek. Norsca Overhaul + Norsca lords. Neferata and Pretty Vampires/Hybrid army. Monkey King w/ a hybrid armies or Khuresh and Yin-Yin for Nippon. Dogs of War as a quasi hoard faction with playable Southern Realms factions.
Plagues for Skrolk when?
Yin Yin for Nippon would make a lot of sense. Nippon is tricky to implement due to real world history but it's also getting wrecked by undead, demons, and dark elves so putting Yin Yin in control of the north to retake it would be a good way to introduce a few Nippon units while having it be a Cathay faction. It would be far less controversial that way.
It would also be a great way to introduce Sea Lord Aislinn to have his final showdown with Lokhir Fellheart. There could be a McGuffin in the eastern seas for Yin Yin, Lokhir, Aislinn to fight over.
Also it would be fun to play as the Monkey King and be told by the campaign to push north into Cathay, but say "Nah I'm gonna go conquer Nippon instead"
That's totally something the Monkey King would do, he's really chaotic.
I've never seen such a big company turn ship the way you guys did. Remember consistency is key, dont fall back into prior habits and you made me a loyal customer and wallet
Please expand the map north of Cathay! Having alot of Chaos faction seiging the wall would be both thematic and cool! Plus, more breathing room for the factions up there.
I strongly suspect that we'll be getting a hoblgoblin khanate dlc later on that opens up that area. I'd expect it around the same time as a the "Norsca rework", since they're likely to reimagine them into the more generic "Northern Tribes" of chaos to include the the Kurgan and the Hung into their frankly limited roster

My dream of a DLC between a Khornate lord, a Khainite lord, and a Blood Dragon lord all fighting over who gets to have all the blood is dead, but I like what I'm hearing as well. My only gripe with what we've seen so far is that Golgfag and Gorbad don't seem to be too visually interesting, but I'd thought the same about Rakarth before he was finished and CA landed him marvelously.
And hey, VC was specifically named, so I feel seen.
A very bloody themed dlc I see. Interesting concept. But they went with a more brutishly aggressive theme, which ain't bad either.

The transparency is MUCH appreciated.
The most important feature you can have for this Format is: CONSITENCY. I understand that there isn't Always something to say and having a strict time frame can be tricky. But the most important thing you can do with the format is to be consistent.
Agreed, even if stuff isn't done yet, seeing more progress like they did with animations, unit reveals, etc. is at least nice to see and sates our desire for content in the short term.
This format was great; just to hear what's coming up. In terms of additional videos, if you can do little ones like this just on how the current update is coming along, that would be cool. Even if it's just clarifying what you talked about like the new LL for Khorne, maybe mentioning a bit about his abilities in-game, stuff like that, rather than waiting until the update is almost complete. That's a good way to keep us engaged and rooting for fun updates.
And on a separate, I do love the High Elves and Vampires. :) He did mention vampires, anything for the Order Tide I hope? :) Thanks again and know that while you do get some crabby emails, a lot of us do appreciate your hard work and when you zoom in on the game, the fun details that the developers add. It's not lost on us.

I wish they'd change the corruption to be a bit more like Warhammer2.
It's practically toggle on and off now there's no point in even going for adjacent spread.
That’s not exactly true, it’s just that there us only one metric of interaction between 2 types of corruption, where all corruptions actually combat uncorruption.
It is conceivably (by the maths) possible to have 100% corruption in all corruption domains, and approachably possible for 4 types of corruption for a 4-region province if none are uncorrupted.
I am fairly certain the other corruption reduction hard caps at 5, and not 5 per other high-level corruption type, so you only need 6 corruption to as you say guarantee a trend towards maximum corruption. In practical reality, the game is not going to wait 100 turns for this to proc, and battle mechanics will give about the right ability to smash other faction corruption when you take a region.
It’s a good prompt to the player to pick fights with unaligned factions though. Can’t have their nasty ideas getting in amongst your evil tendencies.
I'd love to see a FLC LLL for Tzeench, we are getting one for both Nurgle and Khorne as I would imagine Slaanesh will, I wouldn't mind getting someone like Egrimm van Horstmann added as a kind of post Shadows of Change FLC lord.

You guys are doing amazing work. I love how you keep adding legendary lords and heroes to fill the rooster.
But i am having a hard time actually being able to play with your legendary heroes, because the quest's to unlock them require you to be so far into the campaign. The quest-chain often require builds from tier 4 or higher settlements, by that time in my campaign I am usually preparing for the endgame, and the impact of these cool heroes goes unnoticed.
I tried doing a army with Tzeentch, were i would have Aekold Helbrass and the blue scribes, but it was way to late in the campaign. First I tried it with The Changeling, then with Kairos and then with Villich. All three times it felt "to late", like its my third or forth army, not my second fist helping me change the world.
I dont need to start with them, just dont hide them behind to long quest chains. The way you did Harry the hammer, 3k kills, perfect.
Other than that I love your game, and I cant wait to see what you will bring in the future.
- High Elves, Dark Elves, Vampire Coasts and Wulfrik subfaction of Norsca must have access to fast travel to different parts of the inner ocean because all of them are expert sailor factions and 3 of them are raider faction as well. For first 3 it could be done thought tech tree research.
- For Wulfrik it should be mechanic tied to his campaign goal since he called The Wanderer (duh). He must travel the map. He must challenge other lords. And since there will be a Skulltaker with 'hunting other lords' mechanic the similar must be given to Wulfrik. And another thing related to him...
- Legendary lord (or may be every lord) must have a button "Dismount" in the battle. With big mounts (like dragons) there will be 2 entities as the result: lord on foot and his mount which could be controlled separately and the process could be reverted by ordering the lord to mount again. With horses sized mount it would be just lord on foot. Why such feature is needed? Duelist lords on a mounts (Wulfrik, Lokhir, Malus, etc) which stop fighting themselves after getting a mount. As the result they fight worse vs single enemy, switching target constantly and most important - it is against their character. Plus it's a very usefull tactical agility to dismount a lord so he is no longer a big target and could fight some halberds safely.
- Also Wulfrik ability should be reworked so it does not reduce stats but force the enemy lord or hero to dismount (if mounted) and fight Wulfrik (who would also be dismounted by the ability) for the duration. And once that challenge is issued no other unit or order could interrupt it until the end of ability or death of either of opponents. Buffing and casting is permitted just retreat is not an option. Its a Challenge after all. The same ability should be given other lords with similar gimmick but Wulfrik should twice the duration because he's on weaker side in comparison to other duelists and a Challenge is the only chaos blessing he have.

Ultimate pipe dream is that Golg gets an ice wizard kind of mechanic where you tailor custom maneater heroes.
One turn you're choosing a place they went to adventure which selects the armour they get.
Next you choose what weapons they fell in love with like guns, hammers and the like.
Finally an obsession for their starting trait like they loved the food there so their trait increases growth, or had fun fighting Orcs so the army gets bonuses against fighting Orcs.
Could end up with so many combos for heroes to really make Maneaters be as unique as they should be. Get an Empire Maneater who has guns boosts income, a Cathayan Maneater who with a big hammer whos good at fighting chaos, even a Lustrian Maneater who wields duel weapons and boosts makes buildings slightly cheaper
Another suggestion: what about the IE map expantion? The Eastern steppes could be expanded to the North. South Chaos wastes could be expanded to the East, up to the Gates of Calith. The most crazy idea - to place Realms of Chaos somewhere in the North of IE map, without needing to be forced to pass a "Realms of Chaos campain" on the IE map. Just to get possibility to visit any of Chaos gods at their home))))
Haven't even seen gameplay or heard of his mechanics, but just off the concept art alone I am so damn excited for Skulltaker! Love playing Valkia and Skarbrand, so a new Khorne lord (or two) will be so much fun to play with.
Well, if it's about asking, I would ask for Southern Realms/Dogs of War. With Estalia, Tilea and the Border Princes as properly fleshed out true neutral factions we would have something more interesting for the Orcs in the Badlands to consistently fight, and a potential threat to Bretonnia and The Empire in the South to prevent the Ordertide
Then how about Amazons (Lustria Bowl 2.0), Halflings (Von Carstein speed bump to the Empire), and I know they said a long time ago that they won't do it, but Araby (another faction to wipe out the Tomb Kings). They are all neutral-like factions.
If they dont become actual factions, Id like to at least see some more effort put into their identity, instead of just "Empire with less stuff"
They could be made up of mixed faction units. Estalia could have Bret knights mixed in. Tilea could have dwarf gyrocopters. Border princes could be using ogre or norscan mercenaries. Marienburg could have high elves
Halflings, Amazons and Araby could all come as units and RoR for the DoW, but Araby as faction, my friend... They've never got a chance in this game, like nippon: never had a codex, not a favourite fan at all, not known enough by the fan base and not that important for the overall lore like Cathay is, to fill a place in the few DLC we have left. Tbh their lore impact can be easily substituted with Tomb Kings. Theres so much things and more important yet to flesh out for the already established factions before de apparently relative near Endtimes (both in lore and game-life wise) that just makes no sense to me. I'm more than happy with the amazing work done by modders with Araby and, with all due respect to CA devs, I don't think they could do such amazing job if not with a race pack, wich no so much people is waiting for or willing to pay 30 bucks for. More if that means 6 months of CA resources not going somewhere else in the Warhammer World. I strongly recommend you the MOD if you still didn't knew about it, great fan job.
Definitely agree, that region would really benefit from having fleshed out factions there.

Double Khorne LL's is a huge W (which means that hopefully Slaanesh fans will get 2 LL's on that update), not to mention hearing that Norsca will have some changes before the end, which was one of my biggest worries.

Slaanesh already has 3 lords. Khorne and Nurgle only had two, so did Tzeentch and Tzeentch only got one new lord with Shadows. I don't think Slaanesh will or should get fifth lord yet. I would really prefer another faction in greater need or a better character to add to get the free LL.

Shadows of change lacked a free legendary lord and instead had a free legendary hero, that was disliked by the community so they went back to free legendary lords with nurgle and are continuing with khorne, likely slaanesh will have 2 lords next dlc as well with one being free, and possibility of a flc lord for tzeentch at some point

@keenansweeeney187 You are thinking of Warriors of Chaos, not mono-god factions. WoC factions don't have full access to the faction mechanics of the mono-god factions and don't have access to the entire Demon roster of that faction. So Sigvald for example does not have access to Heartseekers or an Exalted Keeper of Secrets, N'Kari does and can make Disciple armies.
It's only logical that they would follow the same pattern for Slaanesh as they did for Thrones of Decay and the Khorne DLC/FLC.
Well since everyones talking about predictions aready . Here's my really bad take/ 2 cents. For a possible list / rooster starting with Slaanesh.
Ll: “Dechala the Denied One”
Lh: “Masque of Slaanesh”
Possible FlC: “Styrkaar of the Sortsvinaer”
Gl: Chaos Sorcerer ( Lord) of Slaanesh
GH: Champion of Slaanesh ( the 4 arm snake version)
Units: “Fiend of Slaanesh” (greater chaos spawn of Slaanesh) , “Praetorians of Slaanesh '' (warhammer fantasy Version of noise marines.) ,”Serpent(‘s) of Slaanesh” ( one riding by Daemonette's , the other by mortals.,) , and Lasty “Slaangors” ( with javelins).
If Skulltaker is the DLC legendary lord for the Khorne lord pack, I wouldn't be surprised if Masque were the DLC legendary lord for the next Slaanesh lord pack. I can imagine some cool dance mechanic for her.
I think that the next Slaanesh release might look something like this: Masque, Vandred the Majestic (legendary hero), Chaos Sorcerer Lord of Slaanesh, Exalted Hero of Slaanesh, Chaos Ogres of Slaanesh, Slaangors, Pleasureseekers, Chaos Knights on Boobsnakes, and 1-2 big chaos undivided monsters like a Chimera or Basilisk.
Styrkaar would be a perfect FLC legendary lord for Slaanesh.
I can imagine Slaanesh will receive a 2nd lord pack with Dechala, stuff from the Cult of Slaanesh list (Storm of Chaos), and the Fiend of Slaanesh as the centerpiece unit.
That was great video, a move in right direction, I'd love to see more like this everytime you've something important to share with us, personally, I can't wait for the next dlc.
If I may suggest, three things. Firstly, menu (customize your campaign experience) like in SFO mod would be great addition to the game, in it option to prevent factions (player and AI alike) from doomstacking (factionwide units & army caps), extra or less exp for lords/heroes/units, growth rate, strength of garrisons and whatever else could be easily implemented. Second thing I'm in for unique ork currencies *shin' stuf* for trades and *teefs* for ork management for example. Lastly, I do understand that focusing on the IE is just right thing to do but RoC was that narrative part of the game, a little bit of something related to story/unique encounters/quests for flavour & immersion would be great.
Edit.: If all three lords end up with 3 LLs on their side, can you kindly ask God of Birbs to bring another lord of his (Egrimm van Horstmann preferably) into the battlefield?
Norsca really needs more than just a rework and fixes. I really hope they get a DLC....
I know nothing about their "real" roster, but I feel their in-game game roster is a bit too bland, especially early game. Do you want to recruit Marauders, Marauders or Marauders?
@@7Rendar 'Norsca' were never a faction in Warhammer Fantasy they were just a few units in the Warriors of Chaos faction. I think Marauders, Horsemen, Warhounds, Chaos trolls and Chariots are the only units that CA didn't create (technically mammoths existed as a forgeworld unit but weren't in the core game).
Norsca do currently feel a little one dimensional, armies of marauders until you get access to mammoths and then just armies of those instead.

Another thing for patches including dlcs, it would be huge, if everyone could test the new stuff on a testrealm.
I would even say it would have a positive effect on dlc sales when people can test new LLs and fall in love with their mechanics while testing, it would increase their willingness to buy them after the test phase.
In addition the more people that test something, the more likely it would be that bugs could be found during testing and the live version would be cleaner.
I’d love to one day see Ludwig Schwarzhelm or Kurt Helborg as legendary heroes for the Empire. Either riding alongside Franz (especially if Ludwig had his standard) would be an amazing way to recreate some really cool moments from the lore!
I do hope the Boyz get some love, until now every Greenskins DLC mostly benefited Goblins.
Id love a savage orc warboss that can buff them and is a half caster with the lore of the big waagh, to better set him apart from normal warbosses
Yeah, kinda sad. Both Skarsnik and Grom did that. I'm a bit miffed about Ironclaw, he's been dead for a long time by Karl Franz's coronation. To put it in perspective, Grom disappeared a bit less than 100 years before Karl Franz's reign, Ironclaw did so some 7-800 years before. Gorfang Rotgut was waiting right there, and he'd be great for both trolls and Big 'Uns.

I will now take the opportunity to request that Bretonnia gets some attention and revamped to allow chivalry to be used in a similar vain to Karl Franz imperial authority, as well as the green knight being buffed and actually being able to have levels
I loved this so much, CA is going in the right direction. I started playing TWW3 a little bit before chaos dwarfs and I've loved every DLC since. Shadows of change had some quality issues but the mechanics where exactly what I wanted to see. Thrones of decay was all over the place but they added stylization to the factions for a really thematic and fun experience. CA is going in the right direction and I just hope they take their time and know what fans want but know when to draw the line in what they want to make.
As a high elf fan, i would love to see Avelorn Sister on horse back or even better on eagle.

It's good that you mentioned the Bretonnia, I feel that they, like the Empire, the Dwarves, the Kislev and the Grand Kathay, should have more units that use gunpowder as a weapon, it is the only human faction that does not have that type of units.
I hope they add these types of units to the Bretonnia later, in some future DLC.

Bretonnia is in dire need of a refresh and unit balancing in campaign, they are a popular faction and could do with a DLC.
Only modders like sfo can save bret.
I really wish to see Ind and Khuresh to be added into the game in some way. If not as standalone factions but perhaps as units and heroes reflecting them into the Cathayan roster.
Three things I'd like to see at some point:
1. Kostaltyn getting more flavor as the Supreme Patriarch.
2. Giving generic lords and heroes updated character icon animations (the new LL screens look awesome btw)
3. The last one is a big ask, but a small DLC where we can buy just the unique mounts that some LL's are missing (Greasus, Ostenkya, Katarin, etc.) I know it's costly to animate a complex thing for just one character, but if we offer to pay for such a thing I'm hoping it'll pique CA's interest. I really wanna play Greasus but i can't get past how dumb and unimposing he is in stupid wheelbarrow.
I really support the idea of doing these sit-downs on the channel every now-and-then. I think it'd really help the community see the humanity in the studio and gives an opportunity for more transparency and understanding of what both CA and the players are interested in.

Great to see this kind of communication, I would also love to see some changes to the vampire coast since especially the treasure hunt mechanic is a cool mechanic in theory but sadly not rewarding at all if you are not already in the area anyway. A small update to that could already go a long way.
Heraldry being such a big part of Bretonia aesthetic, can´t understand how it didn´t receive the proper love. For a team such as CA it should be a walk in the park to have a more eloquent adaptation for knight's heraldry throughout the different hierarchies. Now it looks super basic inside a game with such a production value. Also, raising the bar on heroes/paladins varieties could be a big plus; adding at least one or two. I might be wrong, but Bretonia seems pretty much abandoned in relation to other factions.

@@SereglothIV VC is my personal favorite and tbh I think they still play really good. Their unit roster has become somewhat bland to me now but the variety in legendary lords and heroes still provide interesting playthroughs. Their campaign mechanics are a bit underwhelming outside of raise dead but even so they really dont feel as outdated as others imo.
@@zoogie980 I mean, the vampires did recieve a bunch of minor updates over the years, but not a big rework. They bleak in comparison to the current state of other base WH1 races.
So, Khorne will have 2 LLs. Nurgle has 2 already, and i think that Slaanesh will have two as well (Mask and Dechala).
So, CA, for the love of the Great Bird God, please give us Egrimm van Horstmann someday. Paid or free, it doesn't matter. I'll gladly pay for this lord to be added. Another idea is to make Aekold Helbrass a legendary lord with a faction of his own. I love this character and would like to see more love towards him with a faction. Even if this faction would just focus on some chaos warriors and chaos knigts of Tzeench.
Anyway, I really like transparency and communication. It was cool when you did this before. I really like everything you've said here and can't wait to see an Ogre rework.

I always love the beginning of every campaign when there is not so many units and then positioning and micro is super important and manageable. Maybe add some limit to the units for every lord that would incerese with exp. Or take some flavor from legendary Dark Omen to have more curated fights in campaign consisting of 10 battles. Or to expound on caravan mechanic wich is super fun exactly cause you have fever units.
More developers being transparent would be fantastic
a faction i think needs an update would be bretonnia. Their vow and chivalry system feel like bummers. Would love to see some changes to that and maybe getting a possibility for more variety for their Gameplay
Definitely, I always forget to make the next vow selection. Love the mod that gives it automatically after earning some levels.
