    This is the beauty of the chess game and proof of fisher's genius mind. Love the mates without castling.

    Both players can be happy in one case only: when each one in the same game has check mated the other...

    After watching so many Mato videos, that was a pretty easy killah move to predict.

    Hey Mato, great video.
    Can you do biography type series of videos on Fischer? For example - his road to championship (facing taimanov, larsen, petrosian and then spassky)? I can find the videos by others, but obviously they are not as good as yours.

    That knight sacrifice to a king-side castled king seems to come up fairly often in these lectures. Very interesting.

      @sahiramena3388 9 років тому +1

      +Cubik Indeed, it is a very powerful attack since moving the king away from safety makes space for incredible attacks by continously cheking, making the sacrifice worthy, but be catious cause I've messed up horribly sometimes :P you might miss that sacrificed piece

    The King Hunt requires Sacrifice and it usually the bishop that runs into battle first.

    Can someone explain why a Bishop pair is an "advantage" .... seems like I've been hearing this term a lot lately . No one seems to say a Knight pair.

    • @vijayyadav-fk1dc
      @vijayyadav-fk1dc 8 років тому +1

      knights are not useful compared to bishops at the end game and as a pair bishops are powerful compared to bishop and knight pair

    • @eliduttman315
      @eliduttman315 6 років тому

      In general, the bishop pair is superior, WHEN THE POSITION IS OPEN. In a closed/blocked position knights have the edge. Generalities can be deceiving, as there is a Nimzovitch game where the position is open and that great hypermodern GM won with 2 knights against the bishop pair.

    at 4:30 why not h5 ? isn't that winning ? if goes to h6 then discovered check , if Kf5 then Qf3

    At move 10 after bd3 if black plays something like pawn from b7 to b6 he is doing much better. Knight to c6 was a bad move as it blocked his queen which would be able to counter-check if white tried the bish sacrifice.

    I almost won with the same position i was 2 moves away from giving my opponent a checkmate.. but due to time trouble. It was bullet game 1min and 0 second .. i messed up.. but i drove his king all the way to B8 😂😂😂😂😂.. from H8... he took a long walk.. I used london system..
