    They should give an Oscar to the Videography team for this.
    The time-lapse videos in this series are probably the best that exist. What planning, what direction, what execution. Bravo!

      Usualy it's a large terrarium with a dozen Camera's in a basement or cameras left in the field but that's not good for the expense of the cameras.
      None the less it's incredible

      Great man but I can never forgive him for changing Gandhiji's last words - "Hey Ram" to "Oh God" - he wouldn't have done that if Gandhiji had said Jesus or Allah or the Buddha
      But Sri Rama has dark skin, so he had to go

      @@ramaraksha01 You are making WAY too much out of Attenborough getting a quotation wrong, which could easily happen to anybody, particularly if his source was faulty. I understand that it was disrespectful, but he did not take away Gandhi's words -- you still have them.

    I only wish we had another legend like Attenborough .. this man signifies everything us humans should strive in protecting the nature.. Only wish I had the chance to meet him, and say what a profound impact he has had on humanity.. Tnx David..

    I hope David knows how incredibly important he is to the planet. He is one of the catalysts for waking up the true insight and understanding for our common mother, Earth.

      David has no importance to the planet, he'll be dead soon and the world will go on just fine without him as it always has. He does a good job narrating but there's no point in being delusional and saying he has an importance that he doesn't.

    It is another great series this. Absolutely fascinating and the images they’ve produced are incredible. This is what the the BBC, and David, does best.

      That long lens camera controlled by sir David at 2:09 is the Laowa 24mm f/14 2X Macro Probe ( correct me if im wrong), it's the game changing lens for macro photography/videography, never did i own it cause the price is too high for my budget, i would sure love to have that, ever since i was introduce to photography macro photography had me really going since i can explore what I've never seen before. Okay im typing too much here.

      No. I've loved nature before I found out about David, many years ago. I was born and partly raised in St. Croix (Caribbeans), and that's one of the reasons why I love nature. There are a lot of humans who still treat this planet as if it's garbage, and they probably don't know who David is.

    3:37 Please... Please. Please :( I don't want David to ever go. He's literally the only person I like on this planet. Please, can we please figure out how to stop old age, for him? He started studying and loving and traveling for plant life and the earth since he was so young, and he never stopped. Please, he's too precious. 😭😭

    The main words that touched me was when David says there has been a change in the way ppl think about plants & wild life. I truly believe & know that Sir David has been the #1 person to make that change possible. My family have watched & learned so much from him. Sir David is one of a kind and we are so blessed to have him in our life time. Thank you David and your crew that make it possible for ppl like me to see the world in a different way.

    Like many of us I grew up watching and learning from Sir David and one of the things that really stood out for me was not only his passion for the natural world but his utter JOY in it.       Plants even capture and eat other insect creatures .. seen that on one of Attenborough's films. Amazing! You gotta love this guy and his voice!

    I've found out that many of my plants do better if I plant them with a friend or two. I think it's the competition, especially with my rainforest (indoor) plants.

    I’m so exited for The Green Planet! Plants are fascinating organisms and I’m really looking forward to learn more about them. I always love how enthusiastic Sir David is about the subject. When his narrating everything feels so grand and it is. Life is truly amazing! He and the camera crew incapsulates that feeling of grandness. BBC nature documentary’s are a joy to watch. I thank all the passionate people working on these nature documentary’s to give us a view of something incredible. I’m ready to see what The Green Planet has in store.

    Elon Musk once said that if AI gets advanced enough it will have troubles communicating with us because it will be so fast that talking to us will be like communicating with a tree and this time laps fight between plants really brought that to mind.

    Trees are annual woody plants that produce oxygen. Trees are the foundation in caring ecosystem as well as supporting various aspects of life on earth. Proving that trees are the saviors on earth🌱🌿🍃🌳🌲🌳🌳🌳🌍🌏🌎🌼🌸🌺🌱🌿🌳🕊
