Yep, I used to just play Nilou Bloom with Kokomi (and had Barbara built as a Vape dps at the time lol), but now Barbara is usually on the full EM Bloom build, while I play Kokomi with Furina.
Another thing that’s often understated is just how hard it is for new accounts to get Xingqiu constellations. He isn’t nearly as good as his 5-star counterparts at constellation 0. Chance are, Yelan or Furina will rerun in the time it takes for you to get one Xingqiu constellation from the shop and you can guarantee yourself the 5-star. I’m not saying don’t get the Xingqiu cons, but he should be looked at as more of a long term goal and sidegrade than an outright alternative for new accounts specifically.
Yes I absolutely agree with U my brother started to play genshin since 3.0 release and he has c3 Bennet c1 Xiangling and c1 Xingqu right now and let me tell U it isn't fun when ur Xiangling and Xingqu are not c4 and c6 resspectively.

Yep! I the moment I pulled Nilou was the moment I started being able to 36 star the Abyss. Of course by now I have multiple non-Nilou teams that could 36 star Abyss, but she carried me through the entirety of Sumeru and still remains a premier option if I just didn't want to think when doing Abyss.
@@MojtaAS Versatile does work here. I was referring to how her teams can be just about any hydro or dendro characters. Another word is "accessible" because any player can use her effectively with free characters like barbara and collei.

I got my C6 Xingqiu really early on in the game's lifetime - I was a 1.0 player who stopped in 1.5 and just got back as 4.2 started. I was about to be very surprised at the fact that you ranked Xingqiu lower than both Yelan and Furina given just how much value he affords when @Yama_1291 's comment caught my eye and I realised that SO much of his value is in his constellations. At C0 across the board, Yelan outdamages Xingqiu significantly and has just slightly less hydro application, while Furina buffs more than Yelan and has notably worse hydro application (still enough for bloom/hyperbloom/burgeon, not enough for vaporise). It's around C3 when Xingqiu's damage bridges a decent amount of the gap between Yelan and him and at C6 when his hydro application is the clear winner. I think something to think about though, in terms of what kinds of accounts prefer whom or value whom, is the length of time they've been playing and what they've managed to acquire. Say a consistent 1.0 player has all three (and conceivably, Xingqiu at C6) - Furina is actually a little obsolete in their teams, because they'll have built up such an impressive repository of artifacts that they don't really need her to clear any content. They can switch around for fun and freshness, but she's a "nice to have" unit rather than an important one. A caveat for this is if they're trying to make teams that have lower damage ceilings work but were missing this one key piece to make them actually competitive in abyss clears. Meanwhile, Xingqiu and Yelan are and have been easily two of the most core units in many important meta teams due to their strong off-field hydro application. At that point, how are they valued? Yelan for more damage, or Xingqiu for damage resistance and his small heals? Excepting scenarios in which they're used together, Xingqiu + Zhongli forms one of the most immovable healerless defensive cores in the game. This is the team that first empowered Hutao's rise to dominance in 1.3 and kept her there for two whole versions. Yelan giving more damage honestly... sometimes doesn't matter as much for an early player. Again, this is given the same caveat as Furina - making teams work that might not work as well due to their higher damage and damage buffing capabilities. Yelan and Xingqiu are probably relatively equal in valuation except when it comes to specific team setups, while Furina's extra damage is probably not as necessary. Now let's think about a player who came in around the middle of genshin's runtime - around 2.6, just before Yelan was released. Such a player may or may not have C6 Xingqiu - if they don't, they're probably pretty close to it anyway. Let's assume again that they have access to all three units. With the overall growth in health and damage from abyss 12 enemies, one would think that Xingqiu's damage reduction and healing would be even more significant, but that's probably not exactly the case. Many teams now run mandatory healing, as opposed to in the past when healers could be mitigated with having a decent amount of skill. A relatively skilled player could have no healer on the team except a Xingqiu and clear floor 12 no problem, but with Corruption and increased damage, running a healer anyway becomes more and more important. Similarly, increasing health thresholds makes squeezing out more damage important. Having played for about a year and a half (to this day), they probably have a lot fewer strong artifacts for their units than a 1.0 player might, and the value of extra damage provided by Yelan and Furina goes way up. However, Xingqiu's value doesn't actually decrease. Running him alone on the second side (typically in some kind of national or with hyperbloom) with Yelan and Furina forming a double hydro core FULLY benefitting from the HP% buff of hydro resonance and double buffing their side makes for incredible abyss clears. Even if such a player can clear the abyss with 36 stars, having more damage might just make it a more comfortable clear and therefore preferred. I'd say that in this case the valuation for all three of them is relatively equal. Finally, for a player who came in around 3.7 or so, again with access to all 3, they probably do not have a C6 Xingqiu. In this case Furina is far and away the easiest build option since she just has to build HP%, and I think Yelan pulls just slightly ahead of Xingqiu in valuation since she does more damage and can reach better abyss clearing thresholds (and just content in general), while Xingqiu's defensive utility is also extremely valuable. However, I think early in the game, Yelan allows access to many more possible team comps than Furina. Yelan can be run in all Xingqiu teams that don't run Furina (national variations, vape variations) and can also be run in most teams that would run Furina or Xingqiu (dendro, taser, freeze, geo support) AND provides some of the benefits that Furina would (dmg% buffs). For an early player, Yelan and Xingqiu provides a better teambuilding basis while Furina provides a greater ease of build. Early on, I'd say Yelan is probably the best option (also because exploring with Yelan on land is great) while you're building up Xingqiu constellations, and Furina is going to be less flexible but damn is her exploration across water utterly unparalleled. Overall, I would say C6 Xingqiu >= C0 Yelan > C5 and below Xingqiu > C0 Furina. It frankly depends on what you're looking for and where you're at in the game. I personally rank Yelan the highest because any investment into her constellations makes her markedly stronger than C6 Xingqiu, and she has the greatest teambuilding potential (since I would use Furina over Xingqiu in double hydro), followed by Xingqiu since his hydro application is utterly unparalleled, followed by Furina. Not that I dislike Furina, she's been on my teams since the moment I got her, and was my first lv90 character. I just think Xingqiu and Yelan cannot be eclipsed, and while Furina has a lot going for her, it's difficult to compare her to them when she has so much less hydro application but has such a huge damage amp.
I think you are massively underselling just how much more personal and team damage Furina is than Xingqiu. Let me put it this way. Hydro application is but a means to an end, which is to do more damage. It kinda doesn't matter if you apply slower hydro or trigger less reactions if the end result is a strict 20% DPS increase anyway. As it stands, C0 Furina + healer comps are just more damage than any C6 Xingqiu equivalent. Well, in good team archetypes at least. If you play burgeon Razor (or other solely transformative damage focused teams) and find Xingqiu better, that's your own fault for playing a shit team. You shouldn't take DPS checks for granted, and there is no such thing as "unnecessary damage." It's fair to say that if you are already grossly overinvested in artifacts and weapons that you would rather have the comfort of additional defensive utility, but that in no world makes Xingqiu a better character than Furina overall. He is and will always be a DPS loss over her, and that is pretty important. The comparison becomes more and more comical the lower constellation the Xingqiu is. There comes a point where I'd argue you lose comfort with Xingqiu because of just how much longer you'll have to deal with the enemy's BS mechanics because you clear that much slower. I absolutely don't disagree. Where I can use Furina over XIngqiu, I absolutely will. Also, I think in mono hydro or double hydro, the damage increase is more than 20%. I think what I'm valuing Xingqiu for is his rate of hydro application in teams that really desire that. I've run both Xingqiu and Furina in a number of teams as well, and I've found that for example, Furina cannot allow teams to consistently vaporise, nor can she keep up with Xingqiu's rate of creating dendro cores. Her place in teams is very different - she massively buffs teams that run hypercarries and don't need reactions. I agree with what you're saying that DPS checks are super important - I'm 33 stars in abyss and I run Xingqiu on one side and Furina on the other but what I REALLY want to do is run Furina Yelan on one side and Xingqiu on the other. I'll put it this way - Furina runs much better in teams that care less about the one or two reactions that she provides - think Cyno or Alhaitham hyperbloom, or any low-reaction hypercarry, or Raiden national, etc. Xingqiu runs much better in teams that seriously depend on reaction damage, like Hutao/Yoimiya vaporise, or Kuki hyperbloom, or classic national. I think the division is - if you have one unit doing the majority of damage that isn't reaction-based or if your team is relatively evenly invested, Furina is going to be the better option. But if your team is heavily reaction-damage focused, Xingqiu's rate of hydro application is going to be more crucial. The reason I place him above Furina is for this - he can work in any team you want a hydro applicator, while Furina is a bit different in how she operates. Maybe I value teambuilding diversity more than optimising a specific team's damage? Like, I think if you're a day 1 player Furina's extra damage is less necessary for your teams in general. Any extra damage is less necessary in general. And if you joined later or more recently, she can be extremely useful in hitting DPS checks and clear conditions. But I think Xingqiu does give you access to more possible teams, especially when you're earlier in the game, so you're not as gated by specific setups. I think what you said does make sense though, C0-C5 Xingqiu's value is not higher than Furina overall, but I feel like his teambuilding flexibility is really crucial. We can say C0 Furina + Barbara early in the game is a great core, and it is, but whom are we buffing when we're trying out the abyss? In a team like that, you need a hypercarry like a very invested Raiden or Alhaitham or someone along those lines but with Xingqiu in the early stages of the game you can build a team more flexibly. Maybe at the end of the day we disagree on who we find more useful and all, but I don't think we disagree that 1, Furina gives mad damage buffs, and 2, these three units are god tier hydro units.

while furina is fs not as good as xq. xq provides so much defensive utility such as his insane dr and some healing. Combining this with him being the best off-feild hydro applier in the game and you get the most versatile, easy to play, and valuable character for almost every account. on top of all of this, if you build him right, he does insane damage, especially if your using sac sword which can help him get 4 vapes in a row with his E
I don't think Yelan and Xingqiu are better than Neuvi. The only reason ppl tend to rate support higher than dps is bcuz dps need support to function. But in Neuvi's case, he doesn't. He's a whole team by himself. So he is the best character to pull for any account bcuz if u had to choose between him and support, you still need dps for the support, but you don't need anyone for Neuvillette.
He literally put ayato in b and childe in a honestly try playing every characters rather than playing overrating the one they r already good..i literally killed pyro boss with ayato in 14 sec and 13 sec with neuvi. And childe actually can't be kept in any team he has his specific one i should say that u did not tried playing with them the way u compared him......still love and support u ❤
Oh, hello, Butterfer! I have a bit of disagree when you put Nilou S tier while Childe is A tier. Nilou is actually need a heavy amount of investment for her teams; all the party of her should be have a lot of EM stats which's the rarest stat, and need to rebuild the characters that you will put them with her; with different set, and stats of EM, like Kokomi, and Yao Yao, other wise the Super Bloom will deal not a very high damage, there’s a dedicated Nilou Main in YT (I forget his channel name) said that Nilou is heavy character in terms of investment. Also without her SIG; she doesn’t sound as strong as how we expected her to be, and she feels very normal without Nahida, which make her teammates with only four stars not very good, that’s not a down grade for her for being not very good with only fourstars characters, but it’s not exactly like how you said, Mr. butterfer, also she feel like the weakness character in terms of ST situations, also she’s an AoE character without a grouper… I would put her in A tier if not a B one (kind of)…
I use mona with prototype amber on nilou bloom only bcus i don't care enough about kokomi to pull for her and i'm not willing to build barbara. I'd rather spend primos on several other chars before kokomi but i do love kokomi's design. I haven't used nilou bloom in a while but mona is fun bcus she can just spam dash and i-frame bloom dmg while applying hydro at the same time. When you run out of stamina you just ult w mona to heal, recast everyone's shit then spam dash again. I literally only use mona on this team and i love it, and even with mona over kokomi it's still by far my highest dps team in aoe content lol Candace is one of my most used 4 stars and up until navia's banner my candace was only c0 but I still used her every abyss on random teams. My fave candace team rn is furina mono hydro w furina, candace, yelan, and jean, and candace's personal dmg is pretty crazy between furina's buff and pwjs stacks. Candace shatterbloom is also fun af but i haven't used it in months bcus i hate changing artifacts and weapons around. A fun team i been trying in abyss is candace, rosaria, xiangling, beidou to do a lot of reaction dmg and counter dmg but even with 2 counters (3 with sac beidou) coppelia without a healer is too damn strong especially with only melee characters. If it were any other boss besides the aeondrake it'd be a breeze I'm not a theorycrafter bcus I can't be bothered to do math and dmg calcs + the dps reqs to clear abyss are like orders of magnitudes lower than the dmg ceilings so I just use shit like random candace teams to clear abyss. I still find theorycrafting interesting and i watch some theorycrafters and meta stuff but I myself can't bothered to base my account around it. Explains why I use mona on nilou bloom and random candace teams, but i still use meta teams when i just want to collect abyss primos then logout

Generally emblem will still perform similarly to 2pc2pc even at low ER requirements, and most yelan teams need ER. Chances are using emblem with decent ER and funneling her particles to furina/kokomi, letting you build more damage on them, is going to be better than 2pc2pc on yelan.
nilou and barbara place is kinda debatable tbh. i would put nilou a and barbara high c, barbara same tier as ayato feels bad(ayato has more use case), same thing for nilou same tier as neuvillette(spin 2 win has better aoe + st)
It would be more helpful if you preface the video by stating what's the basis behind each ranking. Your perspective will be a lot more clearer for the viewer. Smth like neuv and nilou in the same tier as yelan or furina doesn't make sense at a glance and the reasoning you provided is not sufficient to justify that placement.
You can get the AOT sword if you want, though personally I don't think it's necessary. Sometimes I put on a dull blade just to show my friends it isn't the signature letting me clear with ease.

Can you do a video on Nilou About how she can work without Nahida but really likes to have her, I understand she needs nahida, and I am the type of person who would suggest putting the horse before the chart but I know some people don't like to use a character they don't like on a team with one they do, So with Nilou she being one of the hydros I am missing, I love hydro btw, Favorite one is barbara BUT I am missing child and nilou I do wanna get nilou but not before nahida due to the fact nahida is just better for my account, Not saying nilou is replaceable but nahida is a archon and a reddish

Investment per unit of power he hard stomps. Further, if you look to flexibility, what you’re really looking at from a meta pov is utilization. Just because you can use Furina / Yelan / XQ to buff Aloy doesn’t mean you’d want to. And utilization has Neuv clearly at the top. Xingqiu int res is good but not as good as a shield, ill make an example: yoimiya, she needs int res but xingqiu int res isnt enough, its just better to use a shielder, and if you have a shielder you can swap xingqiu for yelan, kokomi or furina (yea kokomi hydro app is enough for yoimiya)

nah yelan is not better than xingqiu, yelan does more damage than xingqiu, but xingqiu is still a better unit overall because of his superior hydro application and defensive capabilities, like xingqiu was considered the best unit of the game for this reason, he just got seconded by furina because of her buffing capabilities,

Hu Tao yelan Rosaria ZL - when I need a little bit of freeze in some floors Hu Tao Yelan Fischl Zhongli - used it long ago for the array, not anymore. These only for Hutao, other than that, there are so many teams I prefer Yelan over XQ. Raiden Yelan Kazuha Zhongli/Bennett Ayato Yelan Kazuha Bennett Hu Tao/Ayato Furina Yelan Jean Hu Tao/Yoimiya Furina Yelan Bennett Obviously Hu Tao's best team is with Yelan, XQ and ZL. But, when there is 1 spot for hydro and it's Yelan vs XQ, always Yelan is preferred. That's y Yelan > XQ. I don't even use XQ anymore.

So she wasn't really needed to make Jean shine. People are just dumb for not using Jean in the first place.
Agree. She’s good for raising the ceiling but not the floor, and where she raises the ceiling she forces significant gear/team adjustments while providing maaaaybe 10% more damage in exchange for living dangerously (unless played with Neuv). On her own, bottom S at best, less flexible than Yelan XQ, many constraints, and turns your team into a glass cannon for marginally more damage for most teams.

Nah, dude. - Ayaya/Shenhe/Mona(pr.amber)/Kazuha is still the best freeze team even after Furina release. Mona deserves at least higher B tier, sinse she is strong in her niche, and also can be still used as an alright flex almost anywhere. - Kokomi was daed from the day she was born. Sure, she might be usefull for mobile players. But for PC player who knows Shift button exists = Kokomi was obsolete, because (a) in heavy-damage content shields are simply better; (b) in general content pr.amber on any catalyst user is more than enough. All she was left with - driver/applicator role, which could be easily replaced with any AA + XQ or other options. Even after Furina release - Kokomis healing takes too long to build fanfares, and forces you to run team with Kokomi as a driver. She is alright to use for her fans and mechanically weak players, but for good players she at best is B tier. - Nilou is certainly not a primogem-cheap unit as you described. For starters, Nilou teams without Nahida are still cringe to this day. And she really wants Khaj. Not to mention, that team itself gets stuck on every third abyss rotation, and has no access to any grouping. Nilou is lower A tier unit, because other investments in subjectively more "expensive" units will bring more benefits in a long run. - I think Ayato deserves lower A tier.

He has the highest ST hydro application and defensive utility (although reduced mediocrely at C0) which yelan and furina dont provide. Even at C0 he is just gonna be low S tier, especiwlly if its before you can even get yelan or furina.

Yep! I the moment I pulled Nilou was the moment I started being able to 36 star the Abyss. Of course by now I have multiple non-Nilou teams that could 36 star Abyss, but she carried me through the entirety of Sumeru and still remains a premier option if I just didn't want to think when doing Abyss.

I got my C6 Xingqiu really early on in the game's lifetime - I was a 1.0 player who stopped in 1.5 and just got back as 4.2 started. I was about to be very surprised at the fact that you ranked Xingqiu lower than both Yelan and Furina given just how much value he affords when @Yama_1291 's comment caught my eye and I realised that SO much of his value is in his constellations.
At C0 across the board, Yelan outdamages Xingqiu significantly and has just slightly less hydro application, while Furina buffs more than Yelan and has notably worse hydro application (still enough for bloom/hyperbloom/burgeon, not enough for vaporise). It's around C3 when Xingqiu's damage bridges a decent amount of the gap between Yelan and him and at C6 when his hydro application is the clear winner.
I think something to think about though, in terms of what kinds of accounts prefer whom or value whom, is the length of time they've been playing and what they've managed to acquire. Say a consistent 1.0 player has all three (and conceivably, Xingqiu at C6) - Furina is actually a little obsolete in their teams, because they'll have built up such an impressive repository of artifacts that they don't really need her to clear any content. They can switch around for fun and freshness, but she's a "nice to have" unit rather than an important one. A caveat for this is if they're trying to make teams that have lower damage ceilings work but were missing this one key piece to make them actually competitive in abyss clears. Meanwhile, Xingqiu and Yelan are and have been easily two of the most core units in many important meta teams due to their strong off-field hydro application. At that point, how are they valued? Yelan for more damage, or Xingqiu for damage resistance and his small heals? Excepting scenarios in which they're used together, Xingqiu + Zhongli forms one of the most immovable healerless defensive cores in the game. This is the team that first empowered Hutao's rise to dominance in 1.3 and kept her there for two whole versions. Yelan giving more damage honestly... sometimes doesn't matter as much for an early player. Again, this is given the same caveat as Furina - making teams work that might not work as well due to their higher damage and damage buffing capabilities. Yelan and Xingqiu are probably relatively equal in valuation except when it comes to specific team setups, while Furina's extra damage is probably not as necessary.
Now let's think about a player who came in around the middle of genshin's runtime - around 2.6, just before Yelan was released. Such a player may or may not have C6 Xingqiu - if they don't, they're probably pretty close to it anyway. Let's assume again that they have access to all three units. With the overall growth in health and damage from abyss 12 enemies, one would think that Xingqiu's damage reduction and healing would be even more significant, but that's probably not exactly the case. Many teams now run mandatory healing, as opposed to in the past when healers could be mitigated with having a decent amount of skill. A relatively skilled player could have no healer on the team except a Xingqiu and clear floor 12 no problem, but with Corruption and increased damage, running a healer anyway becomes more and more important. Similarly, increasing health thresholds makes squeezing out more damage important. Having played for about a year and a half (to this day), they probably have a lot fewer strong artifacts for their units than a 1.0 player might, and the value of extra damage provided by Yelan and Furina goes way up. However, Xingqiu's value doesn't actually decrease. Running him alone on the second side (typically in some kind of national or with hyperbloom) with Yelan and Furina forming a double hydro core FULLY benefitting from the HP% buff of hydro resonance and double buffing their side makes for incredible abyss clears. Even if such a player can clear the abyss with 36 stars, having more damage might just make it a more comfortable clear and therefore preferred. I'd say that in this case the valuation for all three of them is relatively equal.
Finally, for a player who came in around 3.7 or so, again with access to all 3, they probably do not have a C6 Xingqiu. In this case Furina is far and away the easiest build option since she just has to build HP%, and I think Yelan pulls just slightly ahead of Xingqiu in valuation since she does more damage and can reach better abyss clearing thresholds (and just content in general), while Xingqiu's defensive utility is also extremely valuable. However, I think early in the game, Yelan allows access to many more possible team comps than Furina. Yelan can be run in all Xingqiu teams that don't run Furina (national variations, vape variations) and can also be run in most teams that would run Furina or Xingqiu (dendro, taser, freeze, geo support) AND provides some of the benefits that Furina would (dmg% buffs). For an early player, Yelan and Xingqiu provides a better teambuilding basis while Furina provides a greater ease of build. Early on, I'd say Yelan is probably the best option (also because exploring with Yelan on land is great) while you're building up Xingqiu constellations, and Furina is going to be less flexible but damn is her exploration across water utterly unparalleled.
Overall, I would say C6 Xingqiu >= C0 Yelan > C5 and below Xingqiu > C0 Furina. It frankly depends on what you're looking for and where you're at in the game. I personally rank Yelan the highest because any investment into her constellations makes her markedly stronger than C6 Xingqiu, and she has the greatest teambuilding potential (since I would use Furina over Xingqiu in double hydro), followed by Xingqiu since his hydro application is utterly unparalleled, followed by Furina. Not that I dislike Furina, she's been on my teams since the moment I got her, and was my first lv90 character. I just think Xingqiu and Yelan cannot be eclipsed, and while Furina has a lot going for her, it's difficult to compare her to them when she has so much less hydro application but has such a huge damage amp.
I think you are massively underselling just how much more personal and team damage Furina is than Xingqiu. Let me put it this way. Hydro application is but a means to an end, which is to do more damage. It kinda doesn't matter if you apply slower hydro or trigger less reactions if the end result is a strict 20% DPS increase anyway. As it stands, C0 Furina + healer comps are just more damage than any C6 Xingqiu equivalent. Well, in good team archetypes at least. If you play burgeon Razor (or other solely transformative damage focused teams) and find Xingqiu better, that's your own fault for playing a shit team.
You shouldn't take DPS checks for granted, and there is no such thing as "unnecessary damage." It's fair to say that if you are already grossly overinvested in artifacts and weapons that you would rather have the comfort of additional defensive utility, but that in no world makes Xingqiu a better character than Furina overall. He is and will always be a DPS loss over her, and that is pretty important. The comparison becomes more and more comical the lower constellation the Xingqiu is. There comes a point where I'd argue you lose comfort with Xingqiu because of just how much longer you'll have to deal with the enemy's BS mechanics because you clear that much slower.

I absolutely don't disagree. Where I can use Furina over XIngqiu, I absolutely will. Also, I think in mono hydro or double hydro, the damage increase is more than 20%.
I think what I'm valuing Xingqiu for is his rate of hydro application in teams that really desire that. I've run both Xingqiu and Furina in a number of teams as well, and I've found that for example, Furina cannot allow teams to consistently vaporise, nor can she keep up with Xingqiu's rate of creating dendro cores. Her place in teams is very different - she massively buffs teams that run hypercarries and don't need reactions. I agree with what you're saying that DPS checks are super important - I'm 33 stars in abyss and I run Xingqiu on one side and Furina on the other but what I REALLY want to do is run Furina Yelan on one side and Xingqiu on the other.
I'll put it this way - Furina runs much better in teams that care less about the one or two reactions that she provides - think Cyno or Alhaitham hyperbloom, or any low-reaction hypercarry, or Raiden national, etc. Xingqiu runs much better in teams that seriously depend on reaction damage, like Hutao/Yoimiya vaporise, or Kuki hyperbloom, or classic national. I think the division is - if you have one unit doing the majority of damage that isn't reaction-based or if your team is relatively evenly invested, Furina is going to be the better option. But if your team is heavily reaction-damage focused, Xingqiu's rate of hydro application is going to be more crucial. The reason I place him above Furina is for this - he can work in any team you want a hydro applicator, while Furina is a bit different in how she operates. Maybe I value teambuilding diversity more than optimising a specific team's damage? Like, I think if you're a day 1 player Furina's extra damage is less necessary for your teams in general. Any extra damage is less necessary in general. And if you joined later or more recently, she can be extremely useful in hitting DPS checks and clear conditions. But I think Xingqiu does give you access to more possible teams, especially when you're earlier in the game, so you're not as gated by specific setups.
I think what you said does make sense though, C0-C5 Xingqiu's value is not higher than Furina overall, but I feel like his teambuilding flexibility is really crucial. We can say C0 Furina + Barbara early in the game is a great core, and it is, but whom are we buffing when we're trying out the abyss? In a team like that, you need a hypercarry like a very invested Raiden or Alhaitham or someone along those lines but with Xingqiu in the early stages of the game you can build a team more flexibly.
Maybe at the end of the day we disagree on who we find more useful and all, but I don't think we disagree that 1, Furina gives mad damage buffs, and 2, these three units are god tier hydro units.

Combining this with him being the best off-feild hydro applier in the game and you get the most versatile, easy to play, and valuable character for almost every account. on top of all of this, if you build him right, he does insane damage, especially if your using sac sword which can help him get 4 vapes in a row with his E

I don't think Yelan and Xingqiu are better than Neuvi. The only reason ppl tend to rate support higher than dps is bcuz dps need support to function. But in Neuvi's case, he doesn't. He's a whole team by himself. So he is the best character to pull for any account bcuz if u had to choose between him and support, you still need dps for the support, but you don't need anyone for Neuvillette.

Oh, hello, Butterfer! I have a bit of disagree when you put Nilou S tier while Childe is A tier. Nilou is actually need a heavy amount of investment for her teams; all the party of her should be have a lot of EM stats which's the rarest stat, and need to rebuild the characters that you will put them with her; with different set, and stats of EM, like Kokomi, and Yao Yao, other wise the Super Bloom will deal not a very high damage, there’s a dedicated Nilou Main in YT (I forget his channel name) said that Nilou is heavy character in terms of investment. Also without her SIG; she doesn’t sound as strong as how we expected her to be, and she feels very normal without Nahida, which make her teammates with only four stars not very good, that’s not a down grade for her for being not very good with only fourstars characters, but it’s not exactly like how you said, Mr. butterfer, also she feel like the weakness character in terms of ST situations, also she’s an AoE character without a grouper… I would put her in A tier if not a B one (kind of)…

I use mona with prototype amber on nilou bloom only bcus i don't care enough about kokomi to pull for her and i'm not willing to build barbara. I'd rather spend primos on several other chars before kokomi but i do love kokomi's design. I haven't used nilou bloom in a while but mona is fun bcus she can just spam dash and i-frame bloom dmg while applying hydro at the same time. When you run out of stamina you just ult w mona to heal, recast everyone's shit then spam dash again. I literally only use mona on this team and i love it, and even with mona over kokomi it's still by far my highest dps team in aoe content lol
Candace is one of my most used 4 stars and up until navia's banner my candace was only c0 but I still used her every abyss on random teams. My fave candace team rn is furina mono hydro w furina, candace, yelan, and jean, and candace's personal dmg is pretty crazy between furina's buff and pwjs stacks. Candace shatterbloom is also fun af but i haven't used it in months bcus i hate changing artifacts and weapons around. A fun team i been trying in abyss is candace, rosaria, xiangling, beidou to do a lot of reaction dmg and counter dmg but even with 2 counters (3 with sac beidou) coppelia without a healer is too damn strong especially with only melee characters. If it were any other boss besides the aeondrake it'd be a breeze
I'm not a theorycrafter bcus I can't be bothered to do math and dmg calcs + the dps reqs to clear abyss are like orders of magnitudes lower than the dmg ceilings so I just use shit like random candace teams to clear abyss. I still find theorycrafting interesting and i watch some theorycrafters and meta stuff but I myself can't bothered to base my account around it. Explains why I use mona on nilou bloom and random candace teams, but i still use meta teams when i just want to collect abyss primos then logout

Generally emblem will still perform similarly to 2pc2pc even at low ER requirements, and most yelan teams need ER. Chances are using emblem with decent ER and funneling her particles to furina/kokomi, letting you build more damage on them, is going to be better than 2pc2pc on yelan.

You can get the AOT sword if you want, though personally I don't think it's necessary. Sometimes I put on a dull blade just to show my friends it isn't the signature letting me clear with ease.

Further, if you look to flexibility, what you’re really looking at from a meta pov is utilization. Just because you can use Furina / Yelan / XQ to buff Aloy doesn’t mean you’d want to. And utilization has Neuv clearly at the top. Xingqiu int res is good but not as good as a shield, ill make an example: yoimiya, she needs int res but xingqiu int res isnt enough, its just better to use a shielder, and if you have a shielder you can swap xingqiu for yelan, kokomi or furina (yea kokomi hydro app is enough for yoimiya)

So she wasn't really needed to make Jean shine. People are just dumb for not using Jean in the first place.
Agree. She’s good for raising the ceiling but not the floor, and where she raises the ceiling she forces significant gear/team adjustments while providing maaaaybe 10% more damage in exchange for living dangerously (unless played with Neuv). On her own, bottom S at best, less flexible than Yelan XQ, many constraints, and turns your team into a glass cannon for marginally more damage for most teams.

"Sure, she buffs everyone" yeah that is exactly what she does and it has an immense impact on the power level of teams where you'd put her. this and her high personal damage as well as the fact that she enables mh on practically anyone is not enough to rate her as highly as people do?

- Ayaya/Shenhe/Mona(pr.amber)/Kazuha is still the best freeze team even after Furina release. Mona deserves at least higher B tier, sinse she is strong in her niche, and also can be still used as an alright flex almost anywhere.
- Kokomi was daed from the day she was born. Sure, she might be usefull for mobile players. But for PC player who knows Shift button exists = Kokomi was obsolete, because (a) in heavy-damage content shields are simply better; (b) in general content pr.amber on any catalyst user is more than enough. All she was left with - driver/applicator role, which could be easily replaced with any AA + XQ or other options. Even after Furina release - Kokomis healing takes too long to build fanfares, and forces you to run team with Kokomi as a driver. She is alright to use for her fans and mechanically weak players, but for good players she at best is B tier.
- Nilou is certainly not a primogem-cheap unit as you described. For starters, Nilou teams without Nahida are still cringe to this day. And she really wants Khaj. Not to mention, that team itself gets stuck on every third abyss rotation, and has no access to any grouping. Nilou is lower A tier unit, because other investments in subjectively more "expensive" units will bring more benefits in a long run.
- I think Ayato deserves lower A tier.
For new accounts yes, for old where Xingqiu is C6 he will be the best Hydro.
If he aint c6 he is a or b tier.

He has the highest ST hydro application and defensive utility (although reduced mediocrely at C0) which yelan and furina dont provide. Even at C0 he is just gonna be low S tier, especiwlly if its before you can even get yelan or furina.

Nah there are like only 4 dps that are S tier in the game and he is the top one. Thats good enough, usually dps arent rvrn that high to begin with.
