first you earned yourself a sub these were genuinely useful tips second I've been trying setups in overworld while I finish building her and your video got me thinking and raised a question: from my testing in single hydro setups guoba seems enough to vape all of her skill hits wouldn't something like xiangling holding petra work? or possibly using barbara as a sustain wearing petra (and potentially the hydro for the crystalize) inorder to get the hydro resonance on top of the archaic heroscroll buff? edit: just had a strange thought I've been playing kalchina in my neuvi's team along kazuha and furina(c2), but with the archaic + hero scroll trick I wonder if Archaic on furina wouldn't be a big upgrade for team damage, since that would be like about 210% bonus hydro damage from team buffs alone

Thank you for posting this; I greatly enjoyed learning all these little tips. I will definitely be trying out that Kachina tech and the Mualani extra skill funnel tech for my Elegy Yelan!
Obviously we want to avoid content that isn’t confirmed, but every archon has been a great support and Mavuika is the pyro archon, so it’s a good possibility she can help out Mualani for sure.
@@Sylvastier i talking about how yae first release when she considered as side grade at beast for fischl and people keep bringing up the potential raiden yae duo, and then raiden release yet yae didn't get a singgle improvement whatsoever untill dendro, what i try to say is while mauvika being a buff for mualani is possibility there's also a lot of carry in their respective region have an issue with their respective archon even when they been anticipated to be theirs respective duo Example like Yae raiden weird rotation and uptime Cyno nahida multiwave content And to certain extent lyney furina miss synergy (this is a bit of a stretch but you get my point) Because we basically going blind with mauvika kit, while they can make her a universal support for natlan character there's nothing to stop hoyo to release her as a carry with 7s+ fieldtime just like raiden destroying every single on field carry + mauvika synergy
Considering that the new craftable greatsword literally mentions mentions a hero named a firethief and has an effect that triggers off field its safe to assume mavuika applies off-field pyro with her elemental skill and has most of her damage in it, which leads to the assumption that her burst is a buff, kinda like furina, except mavuika probably cares about nightsoul burst to some extend
I always like your tech section a lot but the C1 Kachina into Petra set char combo was next level. Team section is basically: Xilonen waiting room and please Mavuika free us from the Xiangling slavery.

a weird technical thing abt the mualani battery thing, if you have her 5* weapon on her and u decide to to this, you can lose the weapon's passive since it triggers once every 14 secs only. so u either rotate slower back into her or just live with the lesser dmg on the first rotation
i pulled for mualani, and then regretfully spent 20k primos on her weapon. and then… i was disappointed by trying to build a team for her. like you said it’s really difficult to use anemo effectively, those tips are nice and i’ll definitely try to use them out. but everything just feels… kinda weird with her, and i’m glad to see it’s not just me. anyway though, thanks for the video, definitely earned my sub with the genuinely useful tips!
I've been using Dehya, Emily, and heal Furina for my OW teams. Mostly because I don't wanna bother building 300 er on Xianling. Honestly a super comfy team for exploring. No bursts required. The main hit and the missles are usually enough damage to clear a group of enemies. Furina on heals for the sustain and the fact that she doesn't apply hydro. That first skill attack for hydro particles is actually super useful. Never really looked for exactly when hydro particles were being generated. Could be useful for when I go for the minimal buff from a poorly atacked Furina burst.
each element is their own battery we talk about batteries in a team when you bring hu tao you bring bennett as a battery, when you bring keqing you bring fischl as a battery, when you bring eula you bring qiqi as a battery
Ive been trying to figure out a team for mualani, especially since I'm a kokomi main and I hate not having a healer, but the team with kachina and zhongli is totally not something I've seen before and I cant wait to try it
Kokomi is really hard to fit in a Mualani team unless you are doing some mono Hydro team. If you don't end up playing Kachina/Zhongli then another option that I don't think I mentioned in the video is Diona. If you have her C6 it works for Mualani and with enough Pyro she won't steal any of the enemy aura :)
This is hands down the best Mualani video I've watched for people wanting to know how to play her + her weaknesses in gameplay. The comparison with Ningguang was spot-on: that's exactly what she feels like playing, and that's exactly why I liked her gameplay-the clunkiness felt familiar and needed me to pay attention to how I was playing. I was surprised when I saw you only reached 10k subs recently (congrats btw!!!) because of how good quality your videos are. I just wanted some advice on team building around Mualani, I know it was covered in the video a little, but I have characters that weren't really mentioned and a few questions. With incredible luck I managed to pull for her weapon and C1💀sooo I'm here now lmao For context my current team of burgeon consists of Hutao (main dps), Nahida and Nilou for application, and Yaoyao (healer). I think I want to use Nahida with Mualani but I'm not sure about others. I also have Kachina C1 and I was thinking about including her but I don't have Zhongli or any other compatible Geo characters. I thought abt simply replacing Nilou with Mualani but 2 dps would cause issues, so I'm not sure where to go from here. All my character builds are mid but I want to settle on a team first before I get on the grind so I'm very open to suggestions 😭🙏 I'm also clueless about how to rotate my teams in general so if you have any advice on that too I'd be forever grateful for your feedback
Thank you for watching my videos! Let's see if I can help: The Hu Tao team is unfortunately not that great. The reason being that Hu Tao applies quite a bit of Pyro and the Dendro units will as well, Nilou is not enough to keep up and you end up just getting "empty" Vaporizes from Nilou and not that many Burgeons. Looking at Mualani: Kachina is definitely good and Nahida/Yaoyao can work but only when also paired with Pyro. Ideally Mualani is attacking someone under Pyro or Burning. I think the easiest thing to do for you would be go for both Nahida and Yaoyao and add a Pyro off-fielder. In my opinion ideally Xiangling but Dehya and Thoma can work as well. You'd simply use Nahida Skill/Burst → Yao Skill → Pyro → Mualani, repeat this until everything is dead and add a Yao Burst when you need healing. You should come by some of my streams, sometimes I try people's Abyss and maybe I could try yours or at least play something similar to what you have :)
Mualani gameplay requieres more skill than the standard DPS´s until now, but usually the average genshin player lack of skill issue and prefer brainless gameplay like Neuvillete, just spam a button and forget about everything... Those are the ones saying she is clunky to play 😂😂 Fun fact: U can jump on enemies and bosses and still proc the marks.
I tried finding something cool with the jump attack of Mualani when I was researching the video, like hitting a weak spot on a ruin guard and stuff like, that but nothing so far :(
4:23 If the new Geo character Xilonen is a subdps/support then we can have double geo one Kachina with the petra set and Xilonen new Natlan support set to get huge buffs with a 250% ER xiangling to rule them all . Another team I am speculating is to be Kachina Xilonen Pyro Archon(if Sub Dps offline support with new set) and Mualani or a double dps team with pyro archon (if pyro archon is onfield dps).

Great tips but Gouba swirl, not just with Mualani but in general, actually works in AoE, that’s what makes it so good and consistent once you practice it enough. What won’t work is the pyro infused burst because it can easily absorb hydro from enemies (instead of pyro from Gouba, that’s also possible), maybe you meant that, but it sounded like the Gouba swirl tech was at fault so I wanted to point that out. The C1 Kachina tech with a Petra teammate is actually mind blowing, I didn’t notice the effect was slow enough to allow it, which is great but at the same time it sucks how Hoyo would rather put a much needed QoL feature in a damn constellation of a character no one will play after 5.1 (if you know you know) instead of fixing hitboxes, crystallise spawning mechanics or both. Great video, I appreciate a lot the level of detail you put into it while still keeping it so short and on point.

Tell me crazy but i like vv setup a lot more than her other team, the dopamine casually seeing 600k/hit just so satisfying, also once you got enough investment to basically one/two shot the enemy the vv uptime and her multiwave problem can be easily solve like example you can do something like zhongli hold e and place his pilar 5 mile away, mualani n1 xl e sucrose gouba swirl mualani e 3 stack n1 swap go to the next enemy do n1 sucrose hydro swirl xiangling q mualani q go to the next enemy and repeat
Eagerly awaiting the day where we are no longer shackled to XL as the only real off-field pyro unit. Idk why HYV has refused to release off-field pyro for 4 years, but it's been such a sore spot for me in terms of team building. Dehya should've been a decent option but HYV shit the bed completely during her beta and actively went out of their way to sabotage nearly every aspect of her kit, so now she needs anemo or dendro just to keep decent pyro uptime :( Really solid video, the kachina C1 tech with petra is pretty neat and lets me run both in one team. Only issue is XL in overworld feels awful lol. Guoba alone won't maintain enough pyro with ZL and kachina applying geo onto things. Will give it a try with triple Fav and see if that makes things feel a little more tenable.
I terms of teams - one that works best for me is: Mualani/Emilie/Xiangling/Baizhu. I like the healing, Emilie does good damage to fnish of the enemies witout energy. XL is the most uncomfortable character here, because of energy managment, so two favs on the team are recommended. I really tryed to make Dehya work, but it's not verry good right now. If all goes well, I think Mualani/(new pyro character)/Chiori/Xilonen, would be even better, more fun to play and better for exploring (especially climbing and rock smashing). I hope HYO doesn't dissapoint me on this one.

I have been trying to find the math of how much worse a mono hydro Mulani team is with Mulani, Furina, Sigewiene, Kazuha. No cons or signature weapons.
lmao I had to test this and it works! It applies Pyro right after so technically if nothing is bothering the aura you can keep going at it the timing is fine. On my way to build Elegy / Archaic Petra Yoimiya
I thought of a complete team for mualani it is bennet kazuha mualani and chasca. Good for exploration too. Just hope chasca is a quick swap unit CA and not a main dps like wanderer

Yeah that's a popular opinion going on around but I kind of hope we don't get too many characters that rely on 5* supports to function. Or that at least we get more alternatives.
is c1 furina better than kazuha in mualani nahida xiangling furina cause you can have +37% dmg bonus from the start and furina dosnt interfere with mualani cause she can be in healer mode
what do you think about kachina + yunjin? unlike zhonli/albedo, yunjin doesnt deal off-field geo dmg so i can still use thoma/dehya. Though, i dont know if her normal atk buff + c2 (15% normal) will be better than zhongli 20% res debuff or albedo 125 EM buff
You could totally use Yun Jin and her kit works with Mualani but she is balanced around the fact that her buff can be used up to 30 times which Mualani really struggles to get to, even in AoE. The buff also lasts 12s which might be a bit tight sometimes and doesn't buff her Burst. I would honestly play something else.
Yaoyao does a good job there! Anyone else, even with Prototype Amber (Nahida) won't overcome Furina's HP drain unless you change to her healing stance a lot.
Try to perform it faster and go towards the Puffer when you see it spawn. It should be fine against a single enemy. In AoE if enemies are spread and it takes a long time to reach them it can happen as well unfortunately
Hey, can I know how much ER should Xiangling be having if Im gonna run Mualani, Xiangling, Kachina, Zhongli?? Im guessing aroudn 240+ maybe? is the Double Geo team her (kinda) best team right now? if not which team is on a temporary basis, the best to build for consistent and good damage. Hi! Honestly you should just go for as much as you can on Xiangling. Mualani/Xiangling/Kachina/Zhongli generates very very low amounts of energy. Double Geo is a very comfy team and it gets the job done but in terms of damage there can be better options.
I knew it was a good idea to full build my Kachina and lose 6M moras...what do you mean, there's no need to level her up for that role ? Well...well ! (Joke aside, long live to Kachina 😂)
If one of your other characters is dashing and you switch to her she automatically gets on her shark and enters her skill without triggering its cool down
Best team that includes Constellations is probably anything with Furina. If you want to hit hard Kazu does very well too but you need to do her setups properly.

The easiest forward vape setup is to use arlecchino's mark to keep a persistent pyro tag on enemies

Tell me crazy but i like vv setup a lot more than her other team, the dopamine casually seeing 600k/hit just so satisfying, also once you got enough investment to basically one/two shot the enemy the vv uptime and her multiwave problem can be easily solve like example you can do something like zhongli hold e and place his pilar 5 mile away, mualani n1 xl e sucrose gouba swirl mualani e 3 stack n1 swap go to the next enemy do n1 sucrose hydro swirl xiangling q mualani q go to the next enemy and repeat

Eagerly awaiting the day where we are no longer shackled to XL as the only real off-field pyro unit. Idk why HYV has refused to release off-field pyro for 4 years, but it's been such a sore spot for me in terms of team building. Dehya should've been a decent option but HYV shit the bed completely during her beta and actively went out of their way to sabotage nearly every aspect of her kit, so now she needs anemo or dendro just to keep decent pyro uptime :(
Really solid video, the kachina C1 tech with petra is pretty neat and lets me run both in one team. Only issue is XL in overworld feels awful lol. Guoba alone won't maintain enough pyro with ZL and kachina applying geo onto things. Will give it a try with triple Fav and see if that makes things feel a little more tenable.

Finally my R15 Fav Lance has some usage
I terms of teams - one that works best for me is: Mualani/Emilie/Xiangling/Baizhu. I like the healing, Emilie does good damage to fnish of the enemies witout energy. XL is the most uncomfortable character here, because of energy managment, so two favs on the team are recommended. I really tryed to make Dehya work, but it's not verry good right now. If all goes well, I think Mualani/(new pyro character)/Chiori/Xilonen, would be even better, more fun to play and better for exploring (especially climbing and rock smashing). I hope HYO doesn't dissapoint me on this one.

In my opinion, yes she's clunky to play but in exchange she deal massive damage
C2 makes her not clunky and do a few more shark bite hits. I would recommend a shield so you can stack faster

lmao I had to test this and it works! It applies Pyro right after so technically if nothing is bothering the aura you can keep going at it the timing is fine. On my way to build Elegy / Archaic Petra Yoimiya

I thought of a complete team for mualani it is bennet kazuha mualani and chasca. Good for exploration too. Just hope chasca is a quick swap unit CA and not a main dps like wanderer

It's the new Scrolls set (on Kachina) + Petra (on another character), so it's 40%+35%

Yeah that's a popular opinion going on around but I kind of hope we don't get too many characters that rely on 5* supports to function. Or that at least we get more alternatives.

Yes even without C6. But with C6 you need Xiangling or better Pyro in general to sustain the extra Hydro being applied

cause you can have +37% dmg bonus from the start and furina dosnt interfere with mualani cause she can be in healer mode

what do you think about kachina + yunjin? unlike zhonli/albedo, yunjin doesnt deal off-field geo dmg so i can still use thoma/dehya. Though, i dont know if her normal atk buff + c2 (15% normal) will be better than zhongli 20% res debuff or albedo 125 EM buff
You could totally use Yun Jin and her kit works with Mualani but she is balanced around the fact that her buff can be used up to 30 times which Mualani really struggles to get to, even in AoE. The buff also lasts 12s which might be a bit tight sometimes and doesn't buff her Burst. I would honestly play something else.
how about c6 furina? what is the best way to pair her with mualani?
regarding the burning team with baizu and furina, would characters like nahida, yaoyao or dmc be a suitable substitute for baizu?
Yaoyao does a good job there! Anyone else, even with Prototype Amber (Nahida) won't overcome Furina's HP drain unless you change to her healing stance a lot.

Try to perform it faster and go towards the Puffer when you see it spawn. It should be fine against a single enemy. In AoE if enemies are spread and it takes a long time to reach them it can happen as well unfortunately

Hi! Honestly you should just go for as much as you can on Xiangling. Mualani/Xiangling/Kachina/Zhongli generates very very low amounts of energy.
Double Geo is a very comfy team and it gets the job done but in terms of damage there can be better options.

Best team that includes Constellations is probably anything with Furina. If you want to hit hard Kazu does very well too but you need to do her setups properly.
