BSU were so innovative for their time. Their rapid bell chords were (and in my opinion) still unmatched. Speed, precision, blend. Still one of the greatest quartets despite the flashy and complex quartets today with their extensive and complicated arrangements that really veer more towards jazz and pop more than barbershop.
@@EC2019I am one to give accolades when they are warranted but the guy just rubs me the wrong way. A huge number of baritones from any number of amateur barbershop groups across the country could step in and fill his part for most songs.

I'm so glad I found this great quartet when I started barbershop in 1994. They are a vocal joy.
BRAVO! You four are still the very best!
The Bluegrass Student Union really nailed it!! Now, I’m a fan of this awesome quartet!! :)
My ALL-time favorite Quartet!
Wow, was that awesome!
I'll say! :)
Come for the barbershop, stay for the web conferencing endorsement.
Lol
Precise. Still one of the greats!
Love love live it
Hundreds of overtones on that last chord, 2:58 is insane

Rick Staab is one of the worst basses I have ever seen. He is a bass-baritone with limited range masquerading as a bass
There's always one.
