We left from Vancouver around 7:00 A.M and we reached there by 11. The main parking was full already. So we had to park on the overflow parking lot which is just across the road.
Bro, quick question… do we need to book for each person ( we have four) , essentially repeating the booking process 4 times … or one person can book for four people… Also , is there a need to book the car pass also ? Many thanks in advance! Also what booking did you guys do which was turned down by the officer at the park … just curious as you said parking was at first come first serve …

1) Parking is absolutely free.
2) You need individual passes for each person hiking. And one person can book passes for 4 people max (including self). Reach out to us if you have more questions on instagram @milestomacaroni 😄

Hi Thanks for watching our video. Hope it helped and gave you an idea for all things to plan for ur Joffre Lakes hike. Drones are not allowed by law in any bc parks anymore. However, they were allowed 4 to 5 years back. Now, you will need permission for the same. Request you to check detailed information about it on this website - bcparks.ca/visiting/parks-and-drones/
We went for this trip in the month of July. Summer is the best time to visit since you can see the turquoise shade of the lake very clearly and vibrant.

You do realize drones are not permitted in BC parks unless you have a permit for research or filmmaking and you could face serious fines if caught. Just an FYI for future.

Nice job flying a drone in a no drone zone and getting in with 1 pass (NOT).
Have some common sense. Don't litter foods in your surroundings. Do this in your home.
Remember not to litter, take care of nature.
