I have 2005 mustang gt and i whant to make upgrade with clutch kit but i dont know how many bolt is my flywheel? Some kit offer 6 bolt and others 8 bolt.
Stock engine is 6 bolt. If you have a built custom engine with a steel crank it should be 8 bolt. So likely it is 6 bolt.
@@BrenspeedEngineering thanks brent and yes it is stock
Why is HP that high with only 8 PSI? Does it have to do with headers and possibly lack of cats? My 3V Whipple HO setup is running approximately 11 psi and doesn’t produce as much as this. Mine doesn’t have headers and has stock cats.
Without going into tuning and all the aspects of that can be the reason..... this car has cams which is going to raise your rwhp significant over stock cams on a blower car.
Don’t get caught up in the horse power the torque is where it’s at. My 08 put down 485 RWHP and 434 for torque.. I have same mods except no cams and I have kooks headers. Every car is different some are freaks too.. I feel mine is about the average. Those are nice safe numbers.
11 psi on stock cats produces a lot of excess exhaust heat, pressure and resonance.
I wouldn't be surprised to see them clogging soon, just not designed for high flow, designed for effciency.
I would mod with some high flows and a proper exhaust system and definitely get it tuned.
Then watch your number increase for sure and possibly fuel milage if you keep your foot out of it!😂
No headers, no cams and stock cats. If you had those things you'd make power like this and prob only see 8 or so psi. Boost is just a measure of restriction so when restriction is more boost will be more but power won't necessarily be.
