    I loved the movie, I drove an hour away with three 90 yr young elderly folks (I am only 60) and took them to see it. I have helped staff Harvest America when I lived in Prescott Az and I have ordered boxes of your beginner Bibles that I love to give away at events here in the Upper Peninsula of Mi. No, I am not a pastor or even an elder of a church. Just a gal being a servant of my Lord and obeying when he calls on me.
    I am so thankful for your ministry, thankful that you obeyed his calling. Loved the movie!!
    Love Always Your Sister in Christ,
    RENA Dennison

    Pastor Greg, the night I accepted Jesus you gave the message at Calvary Chapel following Benny Hester May 11, 1979. Pastor Romain baptized me and God healed my skin condition via Lonny at an afterglow. It has been amazing to see The Jesus Revolution all these years later. God is using it in a big way…PTL!!! ✝️

    Pastor Greg;
    I wondered why the movie changed so many things? Like who really brought Lonnie to meet Pastor Chuck.
    Despite these changes, this movie was a beautiful portrayal of what the Holy Spirit did in California, and the nation. I am buying tickets, for my daughter and son-in-law, our 'lost boy', to go see the film tomorrow. They are currently in Northern CA. I believe God will use this film to reach his wounded soul.

What a refreshing way for everyone to learn the truth . I’ve learned that no matter win the world would come to an end. Im his forever. Love that he loves me. I’m praying that people, and I’m including people who call themselves Christians, aren’t making you feel like you have to explain , if that’s the right word, for what they put in the film. I believe with all of my heart that this film was made the way God wanted it made And the timing was absolutely perfect! Men have flaws that we cannot always control, but God’s ways are perfect. 5:40 Our God is amazing and He’s doing great things right now! I have read your book, "Lost Boy" and now reading the 3 biographies about Lonnie F.
    ( So much misinformation circling about L.F. ... wanted to know his story, from his mouth.) I really liked the movie. I didn't "love" the "artistic license" . I felt it was taken too far, unnecessary. Left alone as occured would not have ruined the movie, or made it "cheesy".

    • @luv2travel2000
      @luv2travel2000 Рік тому +1

      Same: I didn't love the artistic license. To me it would have been far more compelling to include what actually happened with Chuck Smith's wife. She was the catalyst to opening her husband's heart to have ❤compassion for the lost, the hippies. She would get him to drive the two of them to the beach to watch and pray for the hippies. She would actually cry because of her compassion for their lost souls. She really cared. She was the first one to impact her husband's thinking even before Lonnie came along. THAT would have been an easy storyline to add and very inspiring in my opinion.

    Dear Sir,
    I have some doubts about God. Hope you find time to clear my doubts.
    1. God is understood to be in a state of perfect bliss by default (He hasn't worked hard for it). So, why did he create a universe which lacks this blissful state?? Stones, plants, animals, humans are not in this blissful state naturally. So, why did He create such inferior things/entities/universe? I think this is not a good thing to do.
    2. Some, people point out that in the case of humans, we have been given the free will and we have to reach up to God by our own free will be choosing the good deeds and then we will also possess this bliss.
    But, I think that God also has free will and He never chooses wrong. So, why not give the same kind of free will to humans that they also never choose wrong? Why create something inferior and then say to them that now you should try to become superior?? If God wanted to create beings other than Himself, He should have created them in a perfect manner, just like Himself. Then, there would have been no need/obligation for improvement because everything had been perfect already (Just like God Himself).
    Some people say creating perfect human beings would be like God creating copies of Himself. I think that creating perfect sentient copies is much better than creating inferior entities and then telling those inferior entities to become superior by working hard for Goodness. Again, we should remember that God hasn't worked hard for His goodness/greatness. So, why expect striving/hardwork from others when you yourself have something by default??
    I Hope you will help me.
    Warm Regards.
    Dr. Deepak Kapur
    India

    • @CyNdi-fk4vl
      @CyNdi-fk4vl Рік тому

      Hi Deepak. 1. GOD=LOVE=JOY! Babies are born happy, but poor choices and sin bring sadness. 2. Deeds do not get you to heaven. Free GRACE gets you eternal life. Newton, Hoyle, Hawking and most other scientists come to believe in God through logic and science and then faith. Follow all the ten commandments and you will be filled with bliss and joy. If you read the Bible, you will see God created us just like Himself, in His image. God says you can not work for salvation; just believe in Jesus Christ and love God a lot and love everyone else! LOVE and PEACE, it's easy! Love you Deepak.

    This confession reveals that you made a film that dstort the the truth. You could be in trouble. You're saying the film is not truthful and then you sell a book. I'm dismayed I have looked at you as truthful as any prearcher can be. Now I'm in doubt. I don't buy Lonnie as like Samson but just one of the tares that Satan sows all the time.. Do not encourage tares by justifying them. There's too many tares already. may God keep you from evil.

      Jesus rebuked legalistic Pharisees. The movie is showing the spirit of the times where thousands and thousands of people came to Christ and had their livess changed. I know Greg's prayer is for a similar revival to happen today. Are you praying that? How many people are you reaching and evangelizing. No you are ripping and tearing the body of Christ apart by your mean spirited legalism. You repent.
