      Do yourself a favor, keep it stock. I’ve got a 2002 I bought new, thru the years I’ve replaced injectors, hpop, turbo, some wiring,etc. she’s got 425,000 + miles drive her every day. These motors (7.3 L) were designed for longevity. You start turning everything up and you’re going to kill it. Just a little advice from an old Ford man, good luck 👍👍🇨🇱🇨🇱

  • @chuckparson6712

    I'd recommend upgrading the motor and transmission long before swapping headlights, mirrors and other cosmetic items.
    Upgrading the up pipes, EBPV turbo pedestal delete with a high flow exhaust port, high pressure oil crossover line, FRX fuel rail crossover and deleting the muffler will make you feel like you have a completely different truck. I guess if you go for cosmetic swaps first, it'll look good broke down on the side of the road or on a tow truck 🤣

      @nick7.3  4 місяці тому +2

      @@chuckparson6712 ive done all of those mods to 7.3s before, some of which are done to this truck, none of them are necessary or will make it break down lol. Up pipe leak just means less boost, not a no start engine!

    • @chuckparson6712
      @chuckparson6712 4 місяці тому +1

      @@nick7.3 EBPV control arm is a prone oil leak, that runs down the back of the engine where the up pipes are, which causes fires.
      Not deleting the transmission by pass tube and installing a larger transmission cooler causes the transmission to overheat and will burn it up.
      Obviously these are things that happen if you actually work the truck, not just drive the truck.
