Kc300x turbo install on my 7.3L powerstroke!!
Original turbo surprisingly went out at only 107k miles on my 2000 7.3. Ordered my replacement from KC turbos and am amazed at the power increase, less smoke, more whistle, and no more compressor surge!

Very nice, my friend. I’m most interested in that front spoiler thing I have under the license plate. I have an obs 250 and think that’d look great on it as well. I also want a bed cap - for securing items from theft & weather. Also, another upgrade that would look great on yours, and mine as well, cab marker lights (above the windshield.) I think they look badass

I put a RH on my 15 I've got a 2.5in with the Bilstein replacements. But now the bumper has my truck out of level, in you research did you find anyone suffering from this same problem. Do you go 1in block in the front or put the factory block back in the rear?
@@natewilliams4745 I havent heard anyone having this problem, lots of people ask me, my driver side little lower in the front than the rear but it was like that already before.
How much would all that cost?
I got a 2017 I'm gonna be doing 2 inch spacers on within the next week. 9.5 lift with 38s x20x12s I'll post.. Looks great man!!

Finished watching this video then bought a 300x for my 2001 7.3 I’m also having that blue smoke after putting a used turbo on the truck about 8 months ago! Was back and forth on a spoologic turbo or kc stage 1

Just getting rid of the stock muffler on the 3.5in factory exhaust is a big help with EGTs

@@joshua12345j yes its a stage 1 and honestly pretty big difference, has no more compressor surge, quite a bit more power, lot less smokey than stock turbo as well. It sounds rowdy too when your at 2200-2500 rpm it screams, good whistle too getting up to speed
Dawg I wanna get a powerstroke so bad. What’s the annual cost of actually owning one, just like fuel and maintenance?
@@jmanf223 tbh couldnt give you an answer depends on the truck and how much you drive for how often it needs repairs, oil changes, and fuel. Get a 7.3 they are simple cheap and easy to work on. Any newer rig (6.0,6.4,6.7) is way more expensive to own

@@Nubako463 cant be done, 6.0s have vgt turbos that gives it the whistle, a 7.3 will never whistle like that

Do an oil catch can for the ccv mod instead of it dripping a little from the hose end. You can then connect the outlet from the catch can back to the intake boot where the ccv originally connects. No oil would go through I had mines connected the same way as yours but I couldn’t stand the smell and did a catch can

Just got a 2001 f250 7.3 and the nipple for the vacuum line to the wastegate broke off so it’s not active and I took that foil stuff off the hot side intercooler pipe so the factory turbo wines pretty good. If something goes wrong I’ll prolly rebuild the turbo with new orings and a s300 wheel.
@@jontroyer7975 I thought of doing that but didnt want to do the work of rebuilding figured its faster to buy bolt in ready unit
@@nick7.398 kc turbos aren’t bad because they’re way more budget friendly my perfect setup with my 7.3 zf6 would definitely be a t4 kit s369 with some big ish injectors but that’s not much of budget friendly.

Ya man this is good stuff. I agree about changing fluids. I got a little Honda Accord for a commuter car since diesel is so expensive here in Cali. Anywho, I got the car for cheap with 200K miles on it. I have no idea about any maintenance but I do know the trans fluid smelled like roasted marshmallows and was really dark. Not good. I did a drain and fill anyway 3 times to flush it out. I did another one 30K later. All is still good. If it's going to grenade, it will do it regardless if you change the fluid. I'm about to do this for the second time on my 2017 F250 with 78K miles on it. I tow heavy so I try to do it more often than not.

@@alsaku33 kc300x, didnt want any new turbo at all but mine blew so needed replacment, dont see the point in a T4 kit unless its a pulling truck or something
