The early Portuguese navigators who first rounded the Cape dubbed it ‘The Cape of Storms’. I suppose it’s just living up to its reputation. But it’s not frequently as intense as this. Sadly it affects the poorer communities worst.

It was really bad. Many roofs blown off, malls closed, countless trees uprooted, low lying ares flooded. My family and I experienced it. 😔
