Been on a cruise and I can safely say. Never again. nothing bad even happened the time that I went, but I never have to go on one again. Truly don’t understand the appeal of them.

I was going Rotterdam-hull on a ferry, force 6 winds. Absolutely smashing fun until it was 11pm and I felt very sick (I ate too much probably)

they avoid storms as much as possible, the chances of you going into one especially something like this are very very low. even then, they designed it to prevent anything too serious from happening.

Allāh (God) says in Nobel Quran (Chapter 10):
22. He it is Who enables you to travel through land and sea, till, when you are in the ships, and they sail with them with a favourable wind, and they are glad therein, then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to them from all sides, and they think that they are encircled therein. Then they invoke Allāh, making their Faith pure for Him Alone, (saying): “If You (Allāh) deliver us from this, we shall truly be of the grateful.”
23. But, when He delivers them, behold! They rebel (disobey Allāh) in the earth wrongfully. O mankind! Your rebellion (disobedience to Allāh) is only against your ownselves, - a brief enjoyment of this worldly life, then (in the end) to Us is your return, and We shall inform you of that which you used to do.
