AQUIS Innovo - Smart Bus Stop

The basic objective of the Smart Bus Stop is to replace the current public transport stations without added functions with modular, multi-functional station (i.e. bus, tram, trolleybus, metro
and railway) incorporating the following attributes:
• greatly contributing to improvement of the passenger experience
• promotes the spreading of environmentally friendly intermodal transport terminals
• providing concentrated community services information
• as a smart city sensor center, providing information to the passengers, public transport operators and community organizations
• a modular platform creates a basis for a subsequently introduced effective integration of the future smart city functions.

The only thing that I didn get it is passenger counting ? Why is it necessary ?

Well, with passengers counted, the numbers can be updated in an App, and the info can be obtained by passengers from the next stop. Maybe if the passenger traffic is heavy, then a additional bus can be allotted.
