I just feel like he is having some small mental disorder, because he isn't making excuses of being bad at Rocket League - he is making excuses for everything. He said that he didn't use discord because all of his mics didn't want to work. I dunno, to me that's a red flag that something is a little off in his brain
Quite literally THE best example I could find of any one who has a problematic mindset is just self sabotaging. Teammates are never an issue, ever. They may be slumping for one game but possibly drag you up the next, the key is to play consistent, with a proper gameplan and solid mindset.
That’s cap. Teammates are usually the reason you win or lose. Getting a bad teammate when the other 2 players are good is an immediate death scentence if you are all close in skill even if you are the best in the lobby

@hasninehostages correction: its the hardest easy transition in rocket league
it took me 400 hours to get from bronze to plat, but 200 to get to diamond (note that i never did any training except to learn easy techniques like half flip) and i can tell you that the most important thing that wil hugely improve your game is just watching the rotation tutorial videos, only once was enough for me and immediatelly i saw incredible results

Just started playing two weeks ago and have hit plat for 2v2s playing with a friend who also started at the same time as me. It's just basic communication and effort. "hey im getting back" "hey im going for the ball" is legit all you need to say and you can get out of gold with a little bit of skill.
We completely miss the ball sometimes or set up the other team with a bad hit. We laugh at our mistakes and we never blame each other. Anytime I make a mistake my friend is like it's all good I could have done better and when he makes a mistake I do the same thing.

HOW BLAMING YOUR TEAMMATES HOLDS YOU BACK FROM GETTING GOOD
Even after 10 000 Hours
i think blaming your teamates for mistakes and losses is fine if they actually made you lose, but dwelling on it is stupid, just move on at the end of the day if you deserve a rank you will eventually get there
There are times when a team mate makes the big mistake that leads to the loss, but if you go back and look at the replay, there are also gonna be a bunch of mistakes or misplays you made that could have either prevented a goal, or secured a goal. Acknowledge mistakes of course, but you can't help them, you can help yourself.
you just have to adapt to your teammate's play style, 30 seconds is enough to understand if he's a ball chaser, a coward or reasonable
there's no reason to rotate properly with a ball chaser, it won't work, just play very defensively like you're on a 1v1 and let him believe he's carrying

Bro was stuck in gold for the double of time i played rocket league, and still played it what a legend
I'm guilty of this sometimes, too... but having an excuse for EVERY damn thing... come on man. That's the real reason. He's literally resisting his own improvement by displacing blame.
exactly what i was thinking, even when it was obviously his fault he simply wouldn’t admit it and made up some stupid bs
@Regdu Geht ? I’m sure this is some insult to me, but I’m too old to understand it so ha! Joke’s on you!
He’s joking around. He’s chilling out lol, nothing wrong with it. Does he sound like someone who cares enough to rank up?
@@walkerkeithley2491 it’s how he enjoys the game lol, he’s chilling.
@@jdc4316 People keep saying this, the point isn't that he's chilling, noone is laying into him because he wants to play for fun, that's fine... It's the bs excuses and constant blaming of others that he's getting called out on

This wasn't really roasting, not really..... It was fairly lighthearted actually.
Yeah roasting is what the guy said as the very first thing we heard
I mean it's either that or you feed into his ego, and tell him that it is infact, his teammate's fault.

yea because they didn’t want to lvl up to get the best guns 😂 my brother used to do that when we used to play i would be maxed prestige he would be lvl 55 and he had like doubled my hours
