Not gonna lie Sunless, this made me tear up a little. RL is easily one of my most favored games as well, and I agree that it's underestimated. What a beautiful way to announce an organization that I believe will add so much to this community - congrats!!

What a cool idea to build up to the announcement like this. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who is now invested into something they'd otherwise not care all that much about. It's really cool to see someone who is passionate about the game able to turn that passion into not just a job but also an entire organization.

Damn, this is hella based what you're doing Sunless. I've been following Esports since it was called "competitive gaming" in the Halo1 days/CS 1.6 and now it's kinda becoming a sport of sorts. It's nice to see regular content creators getting involved instead of just letting the big money investment firms control everything, like has happening in League of Legends. Not having a TikTok is pretty based too.

i cant believe its been six years already. i remember discover your channel like 5 years ago, sitting in a Lowe's parking lot waiting for my dad on my first phone. watched your content for years but as I grew apart from my friends, I lost people to play with and lost interest in the game. while i continued to watch you, fluump, and the occasional rocket sledge documentary UA-cam stopped recommending RL content. eventually being revived by Leth i found a love again, but soon that too faded.

Sunless. I've been watching your videos on-and-off for about two year now. Thank you for all of the content. I thought the switch RL made to 'punish' players for leaving "CASUAL" matches to be ridiculous, but never really tried to put it into words. After playing a few games of competitive threes with my buddie tonight, and them logging off, I decided to give casual a try to obtain one of the challenges this season (play 20 casual matches online). I was reminded of the new rule implemented in casual. The rule being that if you leave casual matches, you are punished for them... like ranked. As when the rule was implemented (some months [year's???]) ago, I thought, "This is so stupid". Then I thought, "What happens if I try a 1v1 casual match and do nothing?? What ensued was amazing. I play four different matches with four different results. A sweaty 1v1 specialist air dribbling and wall-shotting in goal after goal. Someone who left the match "legally" after 3:30. A player that scored 3 goals on me and 3 goals on themselves, went into overtime, and scored on themselves to loose the match. A fourth player who just sat there and did nothing the entire match. To me, this really proved the point of how stupid the new rule of casual really is. IT'S CASUAL. WHY CAN'T PLAYERS COME AND GO AS THE WANT!?!?! THAT'S WHAT COMPETIVE PLAY IS FOR!!!!!. Sorry for yelling. Anyways, I am not a UA-camr, but having been very surprised by the different reactions to 1v1 casual, along with my preconceived notions on the 'new' casual rules, I thought I might offer up this idea as a UA-cam video. Thanks for all the content!
