Doing stuff in front of adults is sooo different! I went into teaching because I hated being with adults lol I couldn’t do stand up in front of a huge crowd of them. Great job!
I 100% agree! When I was about 16 figuring out what I wanted to do, I told my parents I don't want to work with people, I only want to work with kids...
I tell people that all the time. I'm an introvert and also don't deal well with people. "You spend all day with kids and you're fine, no reason for you to not come to [insert event]". "Kids aren't people".
that is so cruel, if you do not consider children people, why would you teach. They can feel that energy and this is not funny. This is low hanging fruit grossness. My seventh grade teacher said that about the children in my school and that was so long ago. How are you young with this sentiment. They actually are people, just not people you respect. Just people you make content roasting. ew

I hear you!! I can teach and spend time all day with my students and my kids. Put me in a crowd of adults, and the introvert comes out!
Yea, there is a difference between children watching you and your peers watching you.

You're definitely entertaining!!

Student centered learning means they don’t have to watch you.
Love this!
That was a good one lol
Yes
Same, literally. I am fine and comfortable around kids. Adults? No go.
no offense, but “They’re not people” was the realest thing i ever heard 😅
She's my favorite!
Thank you. So glad I'm not the only person who's ever said this. 😊
My kids tell me I should do comedy. But I feel the same way
It's true tho! I love it 😂
