Enjoying these shows, quite addictive. I was born in the seventies in the UK and I vaguely remember we had a version called Celebrity Squares. I love the prizes and the voiceovers on this version! Great guests too. I instantly recognised Bruce Banner and Jonathan Kent on here :D
I need to laugh and stay happy as I am depressed but Paul Lynde and the show helps to ease my depression and my kitty helps too .With the cronavirus killing people and maybe losing medcaid is causing anger and depression .
Peter mentioned the tragic Olympic Games in Munich, Germany that were about to take place. Chilling. This was basically the start of modern day terrorism. Very sad what happened to the Israeli Olympic team. Will never forget Jim McKay announcing that they were "all gone".
Before Jane Wyman would ever appear on "Falcon Crest," she was a panelist on "Hollywood Squares." As I said, she was the reason why movies/TV had cherished her! :) May she continue to #RIP! 1917 - 2007!
A lot of people may not know this, but Dan Rowan auditioned to host the original version of The Hollywood Squares (Daytime) (1965) but lost out to Peter Marshall, who took the job just to keep Rowan from getting it, as he was angry at Rowan for not visiting the terminally ill Tommy Noonan, who in Marshall's opinion had contributed greatly to Rowan and Martin's success.
It reminds me of a Vauxhall we had at the time in the UK, the Victor. GM owned them at the time (until 2017). The Pontiac I've seen on a '68 episode looked very nice.
My brother at about age 19 got sprayed big time by a mama skunk. Our grandma made him bury ALL his clothes by the barn and take a bath in Pine Sol - but he didn't shave his head. (We lived WAY out in the country...)

Always loved this day time night time show back in the 60s 70s and 80s ! Loved Paul Lynde s humor ! He brings me up when I feeling down !

I was a sophomore in high school at this point - loved watching it even back then.
EXCELLENT ❤❤❤❤❤
Vincent Price! -- what -couldn't- he do? So, very, wonderful an actor.
A great cook too :)
I’ve always loved the original version, and Peter Marshall was fantastic. As for his jacket, i wonder if a Ramada Inn room was missing some draperies.
Vincent Price was very funny in Hollywood squares
50 years ago. WOW.
Hollywood Squares With the stars and Peter Marshall is a Educational Game of Knowledge Fun plus Humor and you can learn a lot
I was in the 7th grade by the time this aired on Game Show Network.
Peter Marshall is such a great host. Don't make'em like him anymore.
The Adam West clone. They look so much alike
Yep, a host who isn’t afraid to let everyone else get the laughs.
Being a straight man is a rarity in Hollywood these days.
Numero Uno.😀
This is the first time I’ve heard of shaving as a cure for a skunk blast.
I had heard of the tomato juice bath, but never shaving.
I always root for the service people, even though I never served in the military.

Wasn't Bert Parks part of the mix as host? He hosted the pilot in '66.

Paul Lynde seems to have forgotten to shut the door to his closet before coming on the show.
That closet had no door.
First prize a Chevy Vega. Second prize Two Chevy Vegas.
Patti Brooks: Move to Nebraska, we have expanded Medicaid here.
I bet Sharron looked sweet riding around in the Vega
When it was running

@@robertcarly9183 good. I'll take the Impala.😁
Go for a Caprice, Chevy's best car at the time, except for the Corvette.
Glenn Ford looks out of place
Jane Wyman fell asleep! Ronald Raygun married her first....you might say he broke her Jane Wyman!
Earl Butz What makes you think it wasn't broken by someone else before they got married
😅
A son to protect the daughter
