The story is about a boy who is trapped in an endless nightmare and becomes desensitized to it, trapped for so long they even forget what home looks or feels like. but because they were trapped for so long, they have become Intoxicated with the nightmare, falling into a stock-holme syndrome with and for it. but it does not feel the same,. in return as prey are meant to be prey

So, looking at your videos, you have been with Vocaloid for a very long time. It is amazing that you made your own song after gaining so much experience and I really enjoy both the concept and the result. It has a claustrophobic feel.
(I also love how he sound at this pitch. The way you tune Len is my favorite of any tuner ever.)

The nightmare is sentient? It only has power over him because he feeds into it with his misery?

technically yes, but you can interp it any way you like! if you look into the eye, you can see some of it's sentient form as an Eye in the ground.
