Apparently he doesn't understand much about the area. You mention Estepario who is a UA-camr, mega drummer but doesn't have a high-level musical career outside of fun UA-cam videos. And he doesn't mention the giants, Thomas Lang, Virgil Donati, Marco Mineman, etc., who, by the way, were the ones who competed with Mangini. There are the monsters Eloy Casagrande from Brazil (research later), Bruno Valverde too. Stop thinking that Mangini's competition is Estepario, don't do that hahaha

I am well aware of the other drum giants. Especially the others who were in contention for the position as DT’s new drummer back when they held auditions. Estapario was merely the first (and only) who came to mind. I am also aware of Eloy Casagrande. There is not competition. (At least not anymore after the auditions took place 13 years ago.) But that doesn’t mean that I cannot compare. I was merely thinking of someone who is INSANELY fast. Thank you for your comment.
