Been testing this out and have had very good success, I did end up shaving the bystials to 3 and duality to one ended up adding a 3 albaz and 2 branded opening and 2 aluber thats been working well for me

It’s crazy how much our minds went in the same direction. I cut the bystials too because they don’t actually do much to advance either engine and added Albion for the same reasons. I also decided to main nib, like you said this deck cant afford the one for one trades like handtraps. The deck needs blowout going second cards that completely wipe or stop their turn going second, that’s why droll will be a mainstay. I think you should really consider keeper of dragon magic as a replacement/supplemental normal summon to rod. It searches branded fusion and deployment, plus can revive cartesia, DM/DMG and fallen if needed. Connects you between both sides of the deck much more than rod. Lastly eradicator in the side, all the ban talk is warranted. Searchable with thrust and even with a mediocre board plus eradicator it’s such a strong card Did you ever feel the need to want to play multiple lubellion or albion fusions in case you couldn’t recycle them back?
It’s pretty close to the same, his original skeleton was the inspiration anyway. I’m playing 2 keeper and one rod, 3 village (it’s a win con) 2 soul servant and triple evenly but I’m flexible on cutting evenly down since that card is glued to my hand

In other words, if what does the perfect hand look like, and what sort of boards can you set up if you had no interruptions? I do, I think it would be INSANE IF we were to cut some of the board breakers. I tried to fit it, but the list is way to tight. I will say it’s the perfect budget alternative for Cartesia and Grang

I think it's amazing and I'm ganna likely build this as my next deck. With that being said I think there is far too many 3 ofs of the once per turn cards. I know ur doing it for consistency, but my luck is to consistently open 2 of a card that is once per turn. Duality, fusion deployment, etc. I will be cutting some of those to 2 100%, idk at the moment what to replace with, Maybe quem? Maybe a branded opening, or even more DM support. Things to consider.
With how DM works, it’s a deck that’s nothing but 2 card combos. For the engine, you need to maximize your cards to see those pieces. But feel free to try different ratios and let me know how they preform… always trying to better the deck :)
@MatchieYGO I'm a dragonlink player, and honestly, despite what people think, it is also 2+ cards to get anything worth doing done. But maybe consider a single copy of chaos space and putting back in a small bystial package. Can search illusion of chaos off chaos space since all rituals "cannot be ns/set" Is quem not useful? Branded opening can ss quem cause she is considered a "despia card" and also provides fusion protection from grave. You said urself u have space in the extra deck so why no super poly yourself? Just ideas brother. I think this deck is definitely on the right track. Now we gotta prevent bricking and raise ceiling.
@@McDerpyderp Bystial DM is my FAVOURITE variant of DM, so I’m very familiar with everything you’re saying. Chaos space being able to search IOC and Lubellion was nuts. Plus the draw and synergy with Soul servent… ugh! I miss it… unfortunately that’s the format we’re in. But I’ll consider what you’re saying. Especially with super poly. @MatchieYGO I typically just do garura for super poly, and side a mudragon since extra deck side is easy to snatch. I'm curious on why tiamet at all? I'm not familiar with the DM stuff, I assume some card dumps it cause it "mentions DM" Anyways thanks alot for making DM possible and getting the gears turning bro! I'm rooting for ya!
Been trying also new ways to play the deck and Chaoa angel has been really good for me only problem is when your locked in fusions and BLS link has been a good card to for me

Am I stupid? I feel like I'm stupid, and there's something obvious I'm missing. Why run the Shaddoll Fusion cards if there's no Shaddoll monsters in the main deck to fuse with? Yeah, they're powerful, don't get me wrong, but I just don't see how this deck would even play them. I've seen Shaddoll's mentioned in a few other decks' tech lists, so maybe it's one of those weird meta things I'm just not 100% up-to-date on, yet? But I just don't see how those cards have any functionality in this deck without main deck monsters to use them with. I'm very confused.
Don’t ever think that haha. It’s a complicated deck with a lot of moving parts. The shaddoll stuff comes solely from Cartesia. Essentially you fuse with Cartesia and any dark or light monster to make Grang. Grang activates it’s effect to send Shaddoll Apkallone from ED to grave. Apkallone triggers allowing you to add shaddoll schism from deck to hand. Set Schism, and on your opponents turn activate it, banishing Apkolone and any dark to make Winda (locking your opponent ti one special summon). If you’re able to chain Schism to an effect that special summons a monster, once the chain resolves your opponent is locked into no special summoning completely. I hope this helps. I have a combo video expected to be released by the weekend with more interactions like this.
Just an idea, what about bond between teacher and student? Being able to get DMG out of the deck is always nice for that draw 2, plus the setting of Dark Magic Attack for the spell and trap destruction can also be helpful. I get it takes up space that can be used for hand traps, branded and stuff and I'm probably missing some other key points. I just like the card and want an excuse to always run it 😂
I’d be lying if I said I haven’t thought about it… it’s cute, when it pops off, it’s game ending… unfortunately your flooding yout hand with bricks where you need starters. If I wasn’t playing the board breakers it would be better, however in competitive games you can’t afford replacing them. But thank you so much for the comment! I tried bond between teacher and student with setting dark burning magic, but against competitive decks, they would more than likely find a way to negate the either the first card or the second one.
I was thinking 4 the Links, why not Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Chaos? That card is wicked asf 2 especially when it only needs at least 1 level 7 or higher monster 4 his effects 2 trigger 👀💯☠️
I ended up cutting the link package completely, I think it’s just win more … however, If I was playing the link package, I’d keep it like I have it in this video… thanks for the comment though :)
I’ve tested with mysterion, Borroeload furious dragon ect. All are fantastic duality targets, but the extra deck is so tight :( it’s hard to fit all of them in Good cards though.

Nope 40 cards. In that locals video, it was a compilation of different games (I.e it ranged from games 1/2/3 within those 5 rounds) so swapping cards in and out of the side deck changed the list form duel to duel
Just me but instead of access code I think unchained abomination might be more apresive since your only playing 2 other link monsters the free extra pops/ board control is super good I ended my opponent who had a Avramax link that was made with ip with a combo of ruler no more my own IP link that I made with Dharc and obviously IP was Abomination proceeded to attack one of his other monsters. it was a manaduim meek activate abomination he chained meek pooped his avramax he summoned meek from deck then he went to activate avramax in grave he didn’t use it on abomination. his mistake he went for my soul servant set I flipped it drew 2 into super poly and book of moon mp2 set both with 1 in hand he drew a reiumheart and had starfrost in grave already summoned reiumheart activated effect to add planet I let it resolve then he played planet and so forth made astralpud activated it’s effect and I used book on it then I forget how he made the new Starfrost synchro from dune but he did although he couldn’t beat abomination so he passed thinking he only had my abomination and set to deal with I drew into my 1 souls activated it to summon regular dm from grave resolved I attacked with abomination into the new synchro beat that use effect of abomination pop astraloud and dm swung for game all because of abomination
Why make this? Honestly, it's contradictive and a pain. I don't see how you think this works and that you should have made a pure DM list instead. It's not crap and it works in sync with everything. Either that or just do straight up Albaz.

I play a control varient with village, some cards like triple tatics and blazing are abit expensive.
This version of the deck is also very very control heavy. I don’t think Combo DM is very good

I only have 1 illusion of chaos and 1 souls can I still do this deck and play other good branded stuff like quem cartisia etc?
1 IOC and 3 prep you can get away with 100% … I think you need at least 2 csouls to make it consistent but 3 is ideal. 1 unfortunately isn’t enough :(

Just me but instead of access code I think unchained abomination might be more apresive since your only playing 2 other link monsters the free extra pops/ board control is super good I ended my opponent who had a Avramax link that was made with ip with a combo of ruler no more my own IP link that I made with Dharc and obviously IP was Abomination proceeded to attack one of his other monsters. it was a manaduim meek activate abomination he chained meek pooped his avramax he summoned meek from deck then he went to activate avramax in grave he didn’t use it on abomination. his mistake he went for my soul servant set I flipped it drew 2 into super poly and book of moon mp2 set both with 1 in hand he drew a reiumheart and had starfrost in grave already summoned reiumheart activated effect to add planet I let it resolve then he played planet and so forth made astralpud activated it’s effect and I used book on it then I forget how he made the new Starfrost synchro from dune but he did although he couldn’t beat abomination so he passed thinking he only had my abomination and set to deal with I drew into my 1 souls activated it to summon regular dm from grave resolved I attacked with abomination into the new synchro beat that use effect of abomination pop astraloud and dm swung for game all because of abomination

Why make this? Honestly, it's contradictive and a pain. I don't see how you think this works and that you should have made a pure DM list instead. It's not crap and it works in sync with everything. Either that or just do straight up Albaz.
