CaymanSKRD Yeah, red is kind of our "team" color - my old 968 race car is red as well. Had quite a few 911's, including an '07 GT3, but the Cayman R is the best driver of the lot.
I drove the R once on racetrack in Vegas, i am 100% your opinion, i drove Ferrari, Nissan, 911, Corvette on the same track. Nothing handles, makes more fun and is easy to handle than this car. Everybody who says this is no Porsche has no idea, acutally Porsche is always limiting the Cayman because it would be better than the 911.
I have to correct my a little bit, drove the latrdt GT3 on the same track, hmmmmmmm, that's another world, the GT3 is the king of motorsport, nothing handles like this, it was very hard even to guess where the limit of that car is ...

why constantly checking you've cleared the car you just passed? it's distracting you from driving forward. Other than they one nit, I'd dry it was very well driven. The girlfriend looked a bit nervous a cpl times but that's all part of the fun.
