Railroad Days 2023 in Como, Colorado!

• For the past 28 years the historic town of Como, Colorado has hosted the amazing event, Railroad Days.
• During the annual event volunteer members from the South Park Rail Society educate the public on the workings of the rail system that the town and roundhouse once serviced.
• These same volunteers have not only repaired the train turntable, they also laid all the track you see when visiting the Como Roundhouse!
• Many memorable experiences are to be had including hardcar rides.
A tour of the restored 1870 Como Depot is an experience not to be missed during Railroad Day!
• While the location is stunning in and of itself, people worldwide come for a chance to see the mighty Baldwin Locomotive's Klondike Kate!
• The South Park Rail Society actually got the beast running for a while but for now you can give her a spin on the roundtable.
• The highlight of the day are the performances from Denver Brass & Celtic Colorado Pipes & Drums
• Restorations are ongoing
• Be sure to ride the cars and purchase merchandise to support South Park Rail Society's efforts.
