- This genuine Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello side cases are very good-looking. The mounting is easy and inside goes an open face helmet or a smaller size full-face one. The capacity of the cases is 30 and 29 L. Check the video to see how easy it is to open, mount and remove them. Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello genuine side cases: a closer look.

Seem good side cases Gregor bmw have a smaller one on the right side like this due to the exhaust 👍🙏
Yes, the only problem could be removing them, if you leave it for some time on untouched. Otherwise elegant and cool looking ones. In most cases one is a bit smaller. Are are right. Thanks Derek.
The cases are huge and great for additional storage. Comes off nicely too.
I just have agree. The look is also nice. They are just a bit pricey, but that is all. Thanks RJ.
They integrate nicely with the bike.
Sometimes you have a felling that they just don't fit, but in this case they do. Very nicely. I agree Matt. :) Thanks bro.
Slick looking cases, and I like that Moto Guzzi. Back in the 70s my Judo instructor had a Moto Guzzi and I have a fond feeling for them
I agree about the look Roger. It means that you were a "Guzzi lover" already a very long time ago. :)
@@RRRRefuelRideRace they were very rare in Texas, at least I never saw any but that one back then. I think it was an 850cc
@@rogerwilliams2629 Yeah, they had the 850cc engines for sure. :) Thanks for sharing it bro.
They look very nice tbh
They go with the styling. I agree mate. Thanks for watching.
Those cases do like nice and appear to be quite large 👍
Their load capacity is quite nice and they look very stylish, but they are quite expensive. Thanks for stopping by Roberto. Appreciate it.
Had my first ride in 2024 was only 3C but, damn I enjoyed it.
Great bro. I know how it is. :)
Pannier can’t fall off as the rear seat wouldn’t engage closed. It has two plastic stuts that engage in holes to stop the panniers being stolen and sliding rearwards
Thanks for taking the time mate. Appreciate your comments.
Pannier does fit a full face helmet 👍I have a shoei neotech 2 😁
Thanks a lot Dave. Appreciate your comment. We just inserted the Guzzi one to show it. :) Did you check the test ride?
That's good to know as I just bought an X-Lite modular helmet to use with this bike (Italian helmet for Italian bike, right?) 😁
@@kingkrimson8771 Exactly mate. X-Lite is within the Nolan group. Just try it before you finally get it. :) Thanks for stopping by.
Zanimiv motor.Prirocni kovcki.
Lepe oblike in tudi dovolj veliki. Hvala za ogled in komentar.
I bought the side cases. Only issue is that the back part looks rough. All the plastic is nice and smooth except one part. I couldn't really see on your video. Did you notice it?
Thanks for the comment. I didnt. Did you speak with the dealer?
@RRRRefuelRideRace I did. They opened another box with the cases and although not as bad, still had the scuffs. Do you mind taking a photo and posting.
@@danielefilippone7200 Sorry to tell you... this was at the dealership when they came out. In my opinion... you got a bad product. Try to negotiate that they give you the best possible ones. After all you paid. :) I hope that you are gonna resolve it.
@@RRRRefuelRideRace I returned the paniers. I will buy next year and hope to get a perfect product
@@danielefilippone7200 A wise decision. I hope that you will get them in the perfect state.
What weight are they rated for?
Inside it is written 5 kg each. It is not a lot, but still good enough. Thanks for takinf the time. Are you following my Trip to Romania Series? You can subscribe, if you feel so. Have fun.
Kakšno težo pa lahko daš v te kovčke? A so kakšne omejitve glede hitrosti, če uporabljaš kovčke?
Glede hitrosti nisem našel nekih podatkov, za težo pa velja 5 kg v vsakega. Hvala za ogled in komentar.
Paniers carry 11 lbs or 5kg each side not '11 kg' each as stated in the video
Thanks for the comment. It was quite some time ago, but I remember that inside it was stated 11 kg max. Not sure now. :)
Oblikovno so mi všeč. Klipsne za odpirat pa ne. Pa notranja elastika ima tudi dobro zapenjanje. Vprašanje pa je, kako bo to vpetje čez par let držalo kovček. Kdo jih dela za njih, Givi?
Izgled je lep, se strinjam. Vprašanje je, kakšni bodo čez 3 leta recimo. To tudi mene zanima. Mislim, da je proizvajalec SHAD. Načeloma bi morali biti kar vzdržljivi. Hvala za ogled in komentar Uroš. Jutri se nadaljuje... testna vožnja.
I wish the video had shown the installation of the side cases. You must make sure the cases are slid forward all the way or they can detach while riding! This was reported by a member of the Moto Guzzi Tech forum. He had one side case fall off while riding and now must buy a whole new set of cases as they are not sold individually. And Guzzi does not provide any instructions with the cases, and does not mention them in the owner's manual. A bad oversight in my opinion.
Thanks for the comment. There are just 2 holes that I mention in the video. You should just be careful and pay attention that both cases are properly in both holes. I didnt know that this could be such a problem. The video of this bike is ready for tommorow. Thanks for tuning in mate.
I was going to mention this. It took me ages to figure out that there is a backwards slide to get them out and forwards to get them in. I found out from the same forum you mention. If you look down into the slot, you can check that the case is fully engaged as you can see the lug that is retained by the one that comes down from the seat. Paying attention when installing will avoid the problem the guy on the forum had.
I agree, the complete lack of instructions is bad.
@@markellott5620 To be honest. That day we tried several times how they really go on and off the bike. :) After it was OK. Any kind of instructions would be great in my opinion. Thanks for sharing your experience. It is mush appreciated. Cheers.
I have a v100 with those cases and they cannot come off with the pillion seat on properly. When new it will take some force to get them on and off, use a light lubricant on the attachment surfaces. After a few times you will be able to quickly get them on and off.
@@derekperry9139 that's what I did. They are fine now.
Why you need to open the seat to remove the cases?
This is how they designed it. :) Thanks for watching.
No matching red cases for the "standard" (non-S) model so the look on mine isn't great. But who cares? You remove them easily for normal (local) riding with no ugly brackets left behind.
I completely agree. Anyways this bike looks great, from any corner. Thanks for stopping by bro. Can check my other videos. Maybe the Trip to Romania Series. You can also subscribe if you feel so. Cheers. Ride safe.
