I hope that whoever buys the sacred heart embroidery, takes it to a good frame shop to have the cardboard removed! It needs acid free backing to protect it. And they can make an envelope on the back for the inscription. 😊
So pleased to have stumbled onto you on Facebook . I now spend all my spare time watching your videos. This old lady in California thinks you are adorable.
I love everything you got today,Jocelyn and like you said, the ‘70 vibe! I was born in 1956 so I could really feel it too and it made me smile and feel happy.I so love the time I grew up,also being a bit of a hippie, walking around in Amsterdam barefoot,in a long gypsy skirt with a tied up white blouse and a belt with little bells around my bare belly..lots of bracelets and a beaded necklace, and long curly hair(because I washed it and had it dry in a braid😁).That time was unbelievable…and I was so lucky to live it.🥰
I like how you say " I don't think we need this" or " I think we need this"using WE instead of I makes us feel inclusive! Thanks for all you do. No-one does it better!! I've learned sooo much.
Yes, They do have pine needles in the seagrass baskets from Charleston. If ever in Charleston, the ladies who make these baskets will actually repair baskets for a price. I am from the SC area.
Someone appreciated that figurine so much they saved it from the bottle dump. I did the same thing with a vintage rooster that belonged to my mother. I glued it, then filled it with plaster to keep it together and I still have it. Have a lovely weekend everyone!
The 70’s was my favorite decade! I’m guessing you probably don’t have loads of time for watching movies, but I do like old movies. One of the things I like about them is checking out the fashions they wear and the props and decor. Then seeing those same items and styles you thrifting videos! 💚💚💚
Oh my gosh, I would have killed for those parrots! Those chips are repairable. And the Sacred Heart?!! I have one almost exactly like that - probably from the 30's too, except it is painted on silk. Has always given me a vibe that it was painted by a nun.....but who knows? It was $5 at the GW and it is actually one of my most prized possessions. It carries so much emotion.
Harker Pate Sur Pate... was my folks' good china - so growing up, I ate all my holiday meals on that! They had the grey, but also several pieces in a lime green shade. It was produced in many colors.
The basket was a sweet grass. I live in Charleston, SC mere minutes away from where you can watch them make the baskets and buy them. There is a specific law in place in Charleston to protect the women and Thier craft.
I have that Avon Easter tray with matching candle sticks and candy dish. My mom gave them to me when I first got married 28 years ago. I still love pulling it all out at Easter. I have a friend who her mother-in-law gave it to her when she first got married around the same time and she always pulls it out at Easter as well. We get such a kick that we both have it. There is also a 2 tier desert plate that goes with it. The detail is actually really well done and it does look like it could F&F.
My mom had the measuring cups as well! Definite nostalgia. ❤️ Love the video as always. You guys are so much fun to “shop with” it’s always a good time!💕💕
Looking especially radiant again today!! Being " with child" definitely agrees with you!!! Love your makeup in the shop video. Oh...and...some great finds as well. Hugs to you and yours!
The cement in the figurine reminds me of the old ways that the traveling tinkers would fix things - with whatever they had in their wagons. If you ever find old pieces with very strange repairs - they are tinker pieces and they are collectable. I have seen some very strange and fun repairs.
That piece you are keeping with the cement blocking the inside. If it's not worth a whole lot and you aren't real attached, I think I would chisel that out and see what's hidden inside. I saw a man's ring once, that someone had poured like lead over the whole top of it and covered it up. It wasn't wearable, so the guy melted the lead off and underneath was a beautiful 18 ct. gold ring with a diamond. Let us know if you find anything in there!
I'm in Australia and love your Chanel. I was excited to see your hippo glass and so glad you gave a description of the artist, now I know who made my poodle exactly the same... very informative and your voice is very soothing..
Yard sales have finally started up here in NC. I found a very beautiful lamp for 3.00. Bottom has a note to the person who gifted it as a Christian present back in 1976. This is what I get for watching you find treasured 😂 yup blaming you dear hahaha.
The cups and saucers were harker pottery chesteron light gray...so funny. I literally just got the cream and sugar set in that exact pattern. At a goodwill in NJ!
I love going back to the shop this is my favorite thing to do on your videos it's going back to the shop to see what are you bought and how you have it organized
Love shopping with you! You know so much about everything! I'm always learning new facts about things from these videos. I'm in CT and out Goodwills have so little good stuff!
On shoreline east of New Haven. Homemaker's Corner, Sarah's Cupboard, Grand Finale, are three off the top of my head. I checkout local auctions via Auction Ninja and various tag sales. You?
@@austenpoet I'm in the Hartford area. I go to Savers, Salvations and Goodwills in Vernon, Manchester, Enfield, Bloomfield, Avon, Newington, New Britain, Glastonbury and in MA -West Springfield. Not all at once tho, lol!
The set of 3 Grey coffee cups and saucers with the white scalloped looking edges were the same part of the same 22 place settings with which I grew up. My Mom and Dad chose that as their wedding china in 1946 in Cleveland Ohio. Great to see it again.
Just a hunch, can you get that Asian piece with the bird and dog that has been sealed with cement, can you get it x-rayed. The fact that it wasn't completely sealed completely makes me wonder if there is something important sealed up inside of it so it's basically only "plugged" up. People hid valuables everywhere, and in everything.
OMG I can't believe you found a whole set of vintage Tupperware measuring cups. And for only 1.99. That's a steal of a deal! I've been trying to piece together the orange set like those. I'm still missing the be (1cup) measuring cup.
Always love looking at your auction items! I think the Fenton Jack in pulpit is Fern and Daisy instead of Spanish Lace. Hard to see the pattern though, so I could be wrong
Love all your glass wear you got. I went to our local antique store few months ago got a beautiful Murano piece their was two different kinds on sale for 14 each I got one. Went back and all the good venders are gone I found a jack and the pulpit I was in heaven till I went to check the top and it's full of chips. Also on sale. I was bummed out. Newer venders it's new new stuff coming in so I won't be going back. You and your family stay safe and blessed
I passed on a pair of similar Lefton parrots. One had some issues and was a little bit more than I was comfortable with. They were gone 2 days later so someone thought they were good enough
The butterfly was sold as a kit in the 70s and you either would glue the rope n fill with the rocks or it came with the rope done and u just filled. I had done one but sadly the rocks started falling out lol so in the trash it went
For some reason that face jug looks like Alfred Hitchcock. 🤣 His name popped into my head when you showed it. You definitely found some nostalgic pieces. I had a set of those measuring cups but in green. Love the old Tupperware!
It’s like taking the tags off of furniture or pillows, etc. My mother really was afraid to remove them. I finally convinced her she wouldn’t go to jail LOL
Love your hair at the end where you were in the shop showing the treasures in the boxes! I always enjoy your videos. Dagney accepting your challenge was fun. Take care. Jocelyn. Can't wait to see your little one. Still thank you ought to wait a day to hit my birthday and name her Natalie. Lol!! Do you have a color or theme for the nursery?
I hope that whoever buys the sacred heart embroidery, takes it to a good frame shop to have the cardboard removed! It needs acid free backing to protect it. And they can make an envelope on the back for the inscription. 😊

You and Dagny are some of the most cheerful people to be around! I’m so glad you get together for us and I’m very jealous of your shopping trips!

I have the sculptured daisy pattern dishes. 😊 They are 47 years old. I loved then in 1975, when I got married, and I still love them!
Yes, They do have pine needles in the seagrass baskets from Charleston. If ever in Charleston, the ladies who make these baskets will actually repair baskets for a price. I am from the SC area.
You love those daisy plates. We’ll so did I! They were my wedding present dishes back in 1967! You brought back good memories! Thanks😊
Someone appreciated that figurine so much they saved it from the bottle dump. I did the same thing with a vintage rooster that belonged to my mother. I glued it, then filled it with plaster to keep it together and I still have it. Have a lovely weekend everyone!
My favorite of everything is the Italian painting on wood of the mother serving her daughter the fish. It's beautiful! 🌻🌟🐆💗
Oh my, I'm in love with those daisy dishes!!😍🌼
I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your channel. I greatly appreciate the fact that you put the estimated value in the corner for us.
I received those daisy dishes as wedding gifts 55 years ago, July 7, l967. Still have them, mugs included. Franklin, Va.
MMA= metropolitan museum of art. MOMA= museum of modern art. Stay well, love your videos.

9:58 The teardrops mean the mug has killed other mugs.
You should use the plates for Easter they seem to give you joy.
Love the 70s theme! I love anything 70s! Those were the years of my childhood, so naturally the items bring back great memories!
The last piece was amazing! I too love the subject matter and would absolutely forgive the cracks!
The Mc Coy is for Ikebana flower arranging. Beautiful

If its a good condition complete set of tupperware measuring cups it can go for $15 to $20!
My mom had the measuring cups as well! Definite nostalgia. ❤️ Love the video as always. You guys are so much fun to “shop with” it’s always a good time!💕💕
The 70's theme today was pretty fun! Good finds.
She definitely had a color scheme kicking.
Looking especially radiant again today!! Being " with child" definitely agrees with you!!! Love your makeup in the shop video. Oh...and...some great finds as well. Hugs to you and yours!

Hope this format with 2nd half at the shop is working for you. I like it. Hope it takes some stress away.
I’m so glad you got the nostalgic Tupperware measuring cups! I found a yellow set awhile back and I just love them!
I love watching your shopping trips. Be well Jocelyn.
The butterfly decor was a craft kit. I had one, but I never finished mine. The one you got is beautiful.
The stone artifacts are absolutley amazing !
I love those Tupperware measuring cups, they have 2/3 and 3/4 cup which is nice.
I have and still use those yellow dry measure cups. ❤️

Thank you!! I have one of the flat owls in my collection and had no idea who made it. Looked it up and Bernie Caliente Kosta Boda!!! Thank you!!
Exactly Jocelyn.....we all like what we like and don't care if it's valuable or in perfect condition. Thank you for saying that! :D
I'm in Australia and love your Chanel. I was excited to see your hippo glass and so glad you gave a description of the artist, now I know who made my poodle exactly the same... very informative and your voice is very soothing..
I am obsessed with daisies! What a great find on those plates!
That Charleston seagrass basket is a treasure!
I really enjoy you sharing your auction buys, and it’s always fun watching you and Dagney thrift together. Who won the praying hands game?
Hi...I hope you have as much fun shopping as we have watching..........your videos are so informative....
Thanks
Yard sales have finally started up here in NC. I found a very beautiful lamp for 3.00. Bottom has a note to the person who gifted it as a Christian present back in 1976. This is what I get for watching you find treasured 😂 yup blaming you dear hahaha.
I'm totally loving the split content. I love the shopping and the haul videos and combining the 2 even better.
The little metal bunny in the 2nd auction box held a test tube like bud vase. They were popular in the 80s/90s.
I went to my Goodwill today, and the only thing I found worth picking up were two pennies!
That sounds like the Goodwill in my area.
Lol. Were they in the store or outside? Lol I'm always finding dimes myself.
I found them in the parking lot!🤗🤗
My Goodwill never has the things in these videos. Must not have people to give good things.
Lmao!
I hope you flipped them for a profit
I enjoy these shop visits very much. Your knowledge just blow's me away & I just love listening to your observations. 💙
Love the 1970s theme you had going on today. ❤
I have those vintage measuring cups too. Found them on a thrifting trip 😎
I found 2 old vanity trays yesterday at Goodwill for $2 each. I was excited 😆
I can't stop looking at your skin, it looks so beautiful! Glowing!
Love shopping with you! You know so much about everything! I'm always learning new facts about things from these videos. I'm in CT and out Goodwills have so little good stuff!
Love shopping with you and everything you do
I'm in CT too. Very disappointed in our GWs.
I’m in CT too! Where do you go?

I'm using the orange set, which my mother owned before me. I use it daily - they just never wear out. Good luck finding the last one for your set.
I love them because they include the 2/3 and 3/4 cup. I own two sets and use them all the time.
There’s some on eBay. Not sure if it’s worth the price since they’re sold as a set. Hope you find it!!
Cartful of goodies! Great stuff at the shop, like the dragonfly piece
Love the Earth wrapped Haeger! And the covered bowl with that gorgeous painting (flowers and the bridge).
Those Sylvia drawings were very popular in the 80’s! Cute find!
Always love looking at your auction items!
I think the Fenton Jack in pulpit is Fern and Daisy instead of Spanish Lace. Hard to see the pattern though, so I could be wrong
I second that motion!
Headed to mt holly for easter next week. Hoping to hit some nearby GWs and find some treasures. So enjoy your finds and learning from your vids.
Really enjoying the boxes can't wait to see what comes out next.
That Butterfly art! 🧡🌼🤎😍
Love all your glass wear you got.
I went to our local antique store few months ago got a beautiful Murano piece their was two different kinds on sale for 14 each I got one. I think the metal bunny at the end of the video might be a rain gauge… the glass or plastic vial probably broke but you can find replacement tubes
I still have those exact Tupperware measuring cups that were my Mom's, lol.
I'm 68. Married in 1976 & got those at my bridal shower. Still have them.
Love the daisy dishes! I have looked for those everywhere!!! 💚💚
Cole Pottery is in Seagrove, NC. The Cole Family is famous in NC for making pottery.
I passed on a pair of similar Lefton parrots. One had some issues and was a little bit more than I was comfortable with. They were gone 2 days later so someone thought they were good enough
Well now we have to see the finished puzzle. So fun.
I love that biscuit jar, you thought ginger, maybe, just a little too big, but people love that design
I was thinking Laura Caldwell had taken over your purchasing! She will be going “yes!” If she sees this.
I found my second pair of sterling silver candlesticks today thanks to the know knowledge I have learned form your channel that’s for being great !
Dagney is so funny...."challenge accepted!" I laughed.
I still use my two sets of vintage tupperware measuring cups. They just don't make them like they used to, that's for sure.
I love the Jack in the pulpet cranberry Spanish glazed vase and the kitty tray ♡
The butterfly was sold as a kit in the 70s and you either would glue the rope n fill with the rocks or it came with the rope done and u just filled. I had done one but sadly the rocks started falling out lol so in the trash it went
Metlox Lotus and Sculptured Daisy on the same day!!! 😍
That Chinz should do great and the tea pots since Bridgerton is back on Netflix 👑
I think the chintz dishwate part of the Old Country Roses line of patterns by Royal Albert??
Thank you for all you show us . So very much appreciated 👍🙏😊
Not a boring vase! It's a Kosta Boda.
Jocelyn, I just bought a mid century 1970’s house. This is my favorite video!
Left coast laura would love that Hager wrap vase. I could see that in her house.
Those daisy dishes are so cute 😍 I wish we could get such adorable things in NZ haha
Hi Jocelyn. I loved the floral biscuit jar and the chitz just my cup of tea. Although I do like the other pieces you pick up today and at the auction.
Love the flora line mccoy
My rabbit holds magnifying glass.. not old. Love your videos! 🥰
Your Cole pottery I believe is NC - possibly A R Cole of Sanford or maybe Seagrove....
Those daisy dishes are so wonderful!
Love those daisy dishes! So pretty!
So many people can use the Drama Llama sign. 🤔 Another great day and always learning from you. Thanks!
For some reason that face jug looks like Alfred Hitchcock. 🤣 His name popped into my head when you showed it.
You definitely found some nostalgic pieces. I had a set of those measuring cups but in green. Love the old Tupperware!
When I peel the stickers back to get a peek I feel like I’m breaking the law 😆,but I still do it !
It’s like taking the tags off of furniture or pillows, etc. My mother really was afraid to remove them. I finally convinced her she wouldn’t go to jail LOL
The hexagon piece is more mission, or arts and crafts than art nouveau .
I love you and Andrew so much I miss him in your videos can wait to see the baby Juliette must be so exited to be a big sister 🇨🇦💋❤️👼🏻
I wouldn't have broken up that poppy trail set by taking just those few from the set. I'd have bought the larger plates to match.
I adore Poppy trail great California pottery!
Why do the stores always put the tag on the mark that you want to look at.
