Thanks alot for these tutorials! Took 56 seconds to render this as a 10 second sequence on my lowly MX230 not to mention the time it took working on it but I feel I am now much closer to not merely "affording" but "DESERVING(!)" an upgrade. 😁
I think you double-clicked Transform(Xf) instead of Transform at 04:38 in the last one. I did what you told instead what you said there and it worked 😄Thanks!
hey, what if i wanna make like the beginning still be visible as in the flashbacks will be a overlay and i want the beginning to still be like visible just a little bit transparent?
When I go to Transform to adjust the Zoom, I don't see the same parameters. I only see: Transform and Reference Size. Is because of an update of Davinci? Where can I find now the Positions Controls?
Did not know you could achieve something like this so easily... thanks for the tutorial! Btw, I'm trying to learn some more flashback techniques, do you know anywhere I could look? The only other one on youtube is the classic white blur.
Thanks so much for this video. I don't have the position controls under Inspector in the Fusion Tab so I am unable to key frame the clip on Zoom, do you know how I can add it? :)
Great tutorial. Thanks. One question: When you mention the difference between 1 and 3 frames, do you mean the difference between 1 and 3 second clips? Thanks 🙂
Look up a video to understand the concept of frame rates which is a basic of video that you must understand for any filming or editing. But basically, 1sec of video is made out of a certain amount of still images (frame), the most commonly used Frame Per Second (FPS) used is 24fps so 24 still images to make 1sec of moving video. In the video, I'm saying that you can make each video clip last easer only 1 frame if you want it to be quick meaning that the clip will appear for only 1/24 of a second on-screen or 3 frames meaning that it will stay 3 times longer 3/24 of a second.
@@VideoEditorStudio Thanks for the thorough reply! Very kind of you! I know about the FPS but some Davinci tutors sometimes use 'frame' to say 'second' which is obviously wrong. Just wanted to clarify what you meant. Thanks for this tutorial, great content! 🙂
The footage is licensed from Artgrid so you'll need a subscription for that but I would recommend a free alternative Pexel.com that provide copyright free footage for free
G'day Erwen - Per usual great video. Have a small problem - Hoping you can help as this effect is so awesome..... Running Davinci 17.4.6 Build 4. Computer is modern Nvidia 3070 / 16 gig ram / Ryzen (3) 5800 - Tried multiple times, but my TRANSFORM NODE - i don't have the same options that you do. Under Transform1, Controls - you have Control Mode, Control Options, Advanced Options...unfortunately, i only have Transform and Reference Size....Haven't updated to DR 18, but i suspect something else has caused this. Thanks so much. Keep creating. Keep sharing. Cheers !
Watch carefully in the video I'm mentioning I believe not to use the "Transform (Xf)" but the "Transform" node. It's bit confusing but basically there's two transform nodes available. Hope that solve your issue!
@@VideoEditorStudio Unbelievable ! Was so careful / checked and rechecked...have tried again based on your comment(s) and it has worked !!! 🥳🥳🥳...Thank you Erwen - Video Editor Studio - You guys are amazing. Keep Creating. Keep Sharing 😎
@@weekendatbernies2011 Awesome glad it's solved! It's Jey, but I understand how my poor frenchy pronunciation of "Jey here" might have been heard as "Erwen" ahah
Bro, you made my video look 1000000x times better because of this. THANK YOU

I love this bro, I've been looking for this exact tutorial for long but it just appeared to me :)
Glad I could help!

this was so helpful!!!
Amazing tutorial ❤
❤this one
Love it! 🔥 can you save this for next edit or you have to re do it every time ? Thank you
That's not really the kind of effect you can save no. There's to many elements that are changing from project to project
Fantastic, I can finally do it! Thanks so much!
Glad I could help!
What would you recommend for sfx to add to this effect?
when i add the zoom blur the cetner of my screen has an asterisk sign and doesnt show the effect. does this mean i need to have the paid version?
fantastic bro
I Love It This Flashback Hyperzoom Effect.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Amazing brother WOW!!! thanks!...

When adding transform node double click instead of clicking on add button it worked for me
Ia this effect in any of your packs? Really just looking for a way to support you. This tut has been super useful 😍
Is there an option adobe (premiete/ae) too?
Thank you So much...Subscribed.. :)🙂

Apologies for blasphemy but does anyone have an idea as to how this would work in premiere pro?

Great Job, thanks! I would be great if you could do a video about Zoom in Dolly out!
On the spline, why are my lines not curved?
By default it's in linear, just select all your point and hit "S" on your keyboard to make them as a S shape
Thanks a lot☺
Most welcome!
thanks you are the beast
on the spline why are my lines not curved
You have to make it curved for smooth movement
