Are you allowed to use small bluegills or perch for bait for northern Pike and walleyes. As I use small gills and I cut part of the tail off

​@@330Maniacthat's one of those stupid things the mn dnr screwed the pooch on. There's 9,000 lakes that have nothing but stunted puny bluegills in them. Seems to me it would make great bait for pike, bass, and especially catfish. There's zero reason to say we can't use bluegills say under 6" as bait. Wi does that. I could use a 8"walleye for bait if I really wanted to.

@@330Maniac they indeed do. I run them for bait on the st croix for flathead in the wi side of the river. Plentiful, lively, hearty, and nobody misses a few 5" bluegills in this state
